Concierge medicine, or private medicine, provides patients with comprehensive, individualized and coordinated care under the direct supervision of a world-class, board-certified physician. Concierge physicians attend to an average of 300 patients, unlike primary care physicians (PCPs), who handle an average of between 2,000 and 4,000 patients.
At Unger Primary Care Medical Center, we pride ourselves on the care we offer all of our patients. The model for this is our comprehensive primary care. Patients that enjoy our primary care can count on us being there for them in all aspects of their well-being. It is a course of treatment that's more than just medical treatment.
Diabetes is a chronic disease, for which there is no known cure, save in very specific situations. It is also increasingly common. Estimates are that nearly 400 million adults suffer from diabetes. Factors such as our modern diet and our increasingly sedentary lifestyle are accelerating the growth of the population with diabetes.
We all have experienced a sleepless night or a few at a time at some point. This is normal and simply just part of living and it is usually temporary. We often experience problems with sleep due to stress and other external factors. Some people have problems sleeping in somebody else's home for the first time; others get anxious over an important event and simply cannot sleep the night before.

Dr. Unger and his equally sweet wife, Lisa, treated me with such care and professionalism when I received my 1st Moderna shot about a month at their drive up clinic. She not only repeatedly checked on me after my shot but he came over and personally introduced himself. This is not my regular physician but I can tell you these are caring people. If he's your primary, you're very lucky indeed.

Moved recently to the area and tried to call to make new patient appointments for myself and husband. After I was asked some personal questions and insular e type, I was told the manager would call me back since she or he has to approve the appointment first? This seems very discriminatory and biased. Will report them to my insurance provider.

My husband and I are both patients of Unger Primary Care. This year has been one for the records as far as our health has been concerned. Dr Unger and his staff have taken the best care of us both in their office and via their tele medicine option, as well as providing us referrals to the best alternative care givers as well. We always feel welcome and cared about and are always constantly being checked on which is great for our peace of mind. And... AMANDA... we can't say enough good things about her and her bedside manner as well as the entire staff at the Unger Primary Care office.

My visit to Unger Primary Care Concierge was stellar.
I was very warmly welcomed and seen outside of normal office hours all in an effort to ensure that I recieved proper care revolving around my ridiculous work schedule. The embodiment of VIP service.
Dr. Unger's bedside manner bridges the gap from patient to health care provider and feels as if your recieving pertinent medical advice from your oldest most trusted friend. The office is immaculate and very well organized. Dr. Unger's attention to detail and thoroughness in this day and age is practically unheard of.

Not only is Dr. Unger a great doctor but he is a great man in general. For years I had a problem with fatigue and a host of other symptoms. Doctors could not figure out what my condition was. Dr. Unger diagnosed me with tHematomachrosis on one of my first visits and treated me. After many years of not being able to figure it out I was on the road to recovery. Dr Unger is the most thorough doctor I have been to. He is stuck with me for the rest of his career as I don't trust other doctors now. I trust Dr. Unger with my life and can't recommend him enough. He also has an amazing office staff and

Dr. Unger was very knowledgeable. I had an Appt. set for 3:00pm and was called into the room a few minutes after 3 which was impressive. Usually no Dr. Is ever on time, I'm use to waiting a half hour or longer in the waiting room at my last Dr's office. Dr. Unger spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed and Dr. Unger has a great personality. I would highly recommend him not only for his knowledge and expertise but he also has a great staff on hand.

I have to laugh at two of the other reviews. You should know your insurance and what it covers. It is real simple to see if you are in or out of network, and you should check before you go to your first appointment. Having said that, My Fiance' and I just got back from Dr. Unger's office. She has had migraine issues since she was about 8 years old, and has seen many doctors about trying to manage them. After 3 appointments, Dr. Unger has the situation completely under control and her headaches are pretty much gone. He has a great bedside manner, and remembers little things to

Changing my review after seeing how the Dr billed my insurance company and how his staff did not share that along with my $65.00 copay they would also be billing $395.00 for the office visit. The Dr is easy to talk to and fun to be around. After seeing a new Dr this year, it was discovered Dr Unger ran many unnecessary tests. The total amount billed to the insurance company $5000.00. Really? For blood work, ekg and hearing test. Both ekg and hearing test were not needed as my new Dr states. I don't have any signs to give reason for the tests. Heartrate normal, hearing normal with the exception

I would not recommend. So bad and unprofessional. I don't even know where to start with all the wrong things that I experienced with this doctor and his staff but people look on here to find a good doctor. People's health should be taken seriously and I don't want anyone else to experience what I did.

I highly recommend Dr Unger. He is very thorough and seems to truly care. He's got a good sense of humor and explains everything as well. He also has worked with Hulk Hogan and Randy Macho Man. You'll see pictures of him with them in the hallway. If he's good enough for the Hulkster, he's good enough for me :)
