Sometimes a full perimeter system is more system than required to eliminate water. Some homeowners prefer an incremental approach to their water problem. They start with a smaller system and build upon it as necessary. This way they only install enough of a system to do the job for now. The basic starter system is a basin and pump.

This last summer we ran into issues with the downspouts connecting to the outside sump pump line and thought it wouldn’t be a problem with our “Lifetime Warranty”. Unfortunately that was where we were wrong. Called Watchman Waterproofing for weeks (not exaggerating) finally someone came out for a couple hours and did half the work leaving the side of the house a disaster. They never came back. We called them for months after that.

Does three inches of water in your brand new basement sound waterproofed to you? $80,000 between waterproofing and finishing our basement, and it’s ruined! The “guarantee” is USELESS when you call the “emergency” number and don’t get a call back until a week later when mold is already starting to form. I am thoroughly disappointed and DO NOT recommend Watchman Waterproofing at all. Now I have to engage with and pay for another company to come out and fix this mess. Thanks a lot for your “lifetime guarantee”, Watchman.

While the original installation was expensive, there were assurances as to the quality of the work and lifetime nature of the warranty/guarantee for the system. Following recent rain storms, the basement is flooded and it is quite apparent that the system is not functioning as designed (or, at all).
3 separate emails and phone calls to this company to service and repair, remediate the water, and address the situation have resulted in no response whatsoever.

Watchman Wateproofing failed us. We have a for a lifetime guarantee for a dry basement. Our sump failed which was very unfortunate. Watchman was not able to come out for 5 days after the pump failure. They do not do 24 hour service anymore. We paid a large amount of money for services ( with a fraudulent gurantee) They are only open Monday-Friday 8-4 dont rely on them for any emergency situations. I have emailed multiple times, made multiple calls to talk to the owner of the company with no response. I am extremely dissatisfied with there services. In the past i highly recommended this company

Today I had a excellent experience with Timothy. Many times when you have people come to your house you expect the worst. You expect to be sold on things you don’t need and it normally ends up in the long run costing you 4 times more than you budgeted for. Not only did Timothy come out (to Dedham) he was very professional he was honest and that was a breath of fresh air. He came out, took a look at the situation and gave me an honest opinion and explained what he believed could help alleviate the issue. I definitely recommend Watchman whenever you are having sump pump issues and want to protect

We have had a crawl space basement that has been prone to flooding during heavy rains. We also have occasional issues with our garage flooding. After a very prompt visit to our house and quote, Watchman was scheduled to get to work in short order.

Had a great experience with Watchman Waterproofing! Larry came out and gave us a quote that was fairly priced, thorough and well explained. He went over the work we needed in detail and explained to us the reasonings behind the work being recommended. The team that came to the house did a great job! They had a lot of repair work to do on the foundation itself and their work quality showed. Overall, I am very satisfied working with Watchman and would recommend them.

The work crew arrived on time each day and stayed late into the evening the last day in order to complete the job- and save us from another day of construction.

It was truly a pleasure doing business with Watchman Waterproofing. I was in the process of purchasing an older home (1900s) with Fieldstone foundation and water in the basement was my main concern.
