I typically do not write reviews when services aren't yet rendered but in this case, I need to share. I contacted Arko moving for a simple load job. I explained what I needed and Artur was quite rude and condescending. I understand I had a unique ask but the manner in which he talked to me was unacceptable and not any way to communicate with a potential customer.
Nonetheless, this was not a good first impression so I will not be using Arko Moving.

The Arko movers were great. I found them through Moving Staffers and even though there was a serious miscommunication with Moving Staffers and Arko which caused some timing issues the Arko team after a discussion of expectations were fabulous. Arthur, Darell, and Juwan (I believe) were personable, efficient, adaptable. The apartment building I was leaving gave us a lot of trouble with the moving out process and this team dealt with every change and made sure my moving needs were taken care without creating an issue with the building. If I return to the area I'd call them directly for their services

No complaints. I was very pleased with the service provided. Basically, I needed a POD unloaded in Manassas and delivered to my Pentagon City apartment on a relatively short notice. Also, it was a small move and I didn't want to pay a ton. Arko came thru for me!
I booked via Yelp and was contacted and confirmed right away. On move day, the two gentlemen arrived and unloaded my POD in 30 mins flat. Most of my billed time was spent coming to Arlington from Manassas which I totally understand. However, price was still reasonable. Everything was professionally done and my items were handled

Arko helped me with my move from an apartment into a storage unit. Because of the pandemic, I wasn't there in person, but Arthur answered my many questions and the movers got the complicated (meet the roommates, move into the storage unit, leave the key with a different friend) process right and moved quickly. I was moving from an apartment to a single family home. Arko moving did the best job I've seen for a moving company. They moved everything efficiently and quickly. They also did a great job packaging and wrapping all of our furniture so that it wouldn't get damaged. They were on time and did a great job! Will definitely be using them next time I move and recommending them to everyone I know.

I must say Arko is probably one of the best movers I have used. I am a single mom, so moving is hard for me.
My only request to owner is to please ask one of guys to not ask to microwave his popcorn. My step dad died from Corona so I am very worried because Arthhur's guy used my microwave for his popcorn!
Also, they copied all of my info from my ID, saying it for some state law. What is it? I said ok. As a woman, I did not want to argue with guys.

Just used Arko moving for an in town move. Arthur and his team were fantastic. His services were as advertised and there were no hidden fees. He wrapped each and every piece of furniture and took extreme care for everything. One of the pieces of furniture was extremely heavy and it was no problem for the team. They were pleasant to have in the house and, as expected, they wore masks and made us all feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend Arko moving and would use them again for sure.

This is the second time Arko Moving has moved my family. I was so happy with their services four years ago that I hung on to their information so I could hire them for this move. When it comes time, I will hire them again. They are efficient, careful, professional, and pleasant.
When my move became unexpectedly complicated, the Arko moving team went above and beyond (by a lot!) and simply did not stop until the job was done. Arthur in particular is just the nicest and most helpful guy you'd want in your corner during a stressful time like moving.

I had a very short distance move and was struggling if hiring movers was going to be worth the money. When I received the quote from Arko, which was much less than others, I was a bit nervous, but everything was Excellent. The office kept in constant contact with me to confirm scheduling and answer questions. The team, who were amazing, showed up on time and ready to go. The two gentleman who executed my move were very polite and didn't waste one minute. They never stopped or slowed down until my move was complete. other moving companies, via yelp for renovating/rearranging of very large furniture and bed-set within my apartment.
Arko Moving offered the best deal for the time frame needed, and they had the perfect availability. The other companies were charging almost $200+ more, which was ridiculous!! If Arthur's offer happened to be outrageous as well, I would've just called over some friends, bribed them with food and drinks, and hopefully this renovation would've taken one day plus some painkillers and ice packs afterwards

I just used Arko Moving yesterday. The team did a phenomenal job!!! They are the best moving company I have used (and I have used many in the last 10 years). I highly recommend them!

2. Wrapped every piece of furniture with padded wraps and cellophane and taped them so they are secure (I have had movers in the past just draped the padding over furniture in the truck-which resulted in damage to my furniture).
