Brittney is the Owner of Brittney's Cakes. She has been in the restaurant business since 2007. Brittney attended college in Charlotte, North Carolina at Johnson & Wales University and has an Associates degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. Brittney has been operating the bakery since June of 2011. Sheila is the Manager of Brittney's Cakes.
Sheila previously worked as a manager of a large transportation company with 13 years experience in this role. Sheila will be helping Brittney with the financial and book keeping aspects of the business as well as the every day tasks of the operation. Brittney's Cakes was founded in June of 2011.

I am getting my wedding cake here. Our wedding is still to come but let me tell you about this process. Brittany sits down with you and really gives you the time to figure out what you want and makes sure you get what you dream of for a wedding. I came in with vague ideas and she helped me get to our end goal. It's such a stress free process I am grateful and we had such fun taste testing the cakes. Their lemon cake, OH we are still talking about it!

We purchased plain chocolate cupcakes with buttercream for our simple wedding ceremony, wanting to give our guests something to take with them since we didn't have a reception. Our guests were RAVING about the cupcakes and several bridesmaids said they were the best cupcakes they'd ever had, insisting that we must pay a visit to Brittney's Cakes the next time they visit Troy. My husband and I froze two of the cupcakes for our anniversary, but the odds are good they won't make it that long without being eaten. :) Thank you so much for these tasty treats that made our wedding day extra special!

For three years now we have gotten our Birthday cakes here. Yes they are a little more pricey but I would rather pay $10 more for a fresh cake made by a local business I can support rather than a frozen manufactured cake. Two years ago they did an amazing Bigfoot cake for my husband, last year was an x files cake and they offer many flavors rather than the standard crap from the grocery stores. I get him coconut flavored cake. I highly recommend this place for your sweet tooth needs.

We hired Brittney to make our wedding cake in 2020- and they were very flexible when we had to reschedule to this past weekend. Their cakes tasted absolutely amazing- all the guests raved about the almond cake- and the design was exactly what I had envisioned. We just did a small tiered cake and some sheet cakes to save on cost, and they had even marked in the sheet cakes where to slice. We last minute had to switch from pickup to delivery and they were very accommodating with that as well. Highly reccomend!

We absolutely loved our cakes!
However both occasions we went to pick up our cakes and cookies the customer service was very poor and we were greeted with very rude attitudes. While understanding everyone has a bad day, the poor attitudes were a repeat occurrence!
They’re cakes are great and they definitely know it but that is no excuse for poor customer service. We will sadly no longer continue business with this bakery.

Decided to go with Brittany’s for my son’s wedding and the day I go make the deposit I was informed that there was an error on their part. They couldn’t do the date because they were gonna be out of town for the holiday. She said best they could do was make the cake on a Friday and the wedding was on a Sunday. Who wants to serve a wedding cake that is 3 days old to 150 guests. Wasn’t offered any discount on this at all to try to make it better. All she offered was to take delivery fee off, well duh I was gonna be the one to pick it up because they were gonna be out of town. Not good reviews

I just picked up my daughters rainbow dash birthday cake. It turned out so amazing and my daughter flipped out when she saw the cake. Everything about the cake was great and was exactly what we had wanted. When i ordered the cake the lady who took the order was very nice and made sure she had all the correct info because we came in with 2 different picture's and wanted certain stuff off each one. This was like a dream cake for a little girl. So awesome! I'd give more stars if i could. We also come in and get the iced kid cookies. My children love them! I will be ordering another cake come January

My husband and I recently had our wedding cakes done by Brittney’s. We had a “regular” wedding cake and a groom’s cake.
The regular cake was beautifully and artistically done in a style that mimicked some other cakes in photos on her website, but with our wedding colors and topper. It was white cake and tasted even better than the sample of that flavor that we tried at the shop. It was rich, but not too overkill on the richness as long as you don’t eat a ton of it. I thought it was delicious.
