Heartland Growers is located in Westfield, Indiana, and was originally founded in 1979. In November of 1984, the then 10-acre wholesale business was purchased by James Gapinski and his family. Heartland Growers prides itself in having two generations of the Gapinski family involved in the daily activities, including many of James' nine children.
We're not just a business, we're family. Heartland Growers is one of the most modern and capital-intensive greenhouse facilities in Indiana. We challenge ourselves to continue to innovate the greenhouse within the industry. We take our greenhouse knowledge over the past 30 years and apply it to our daily routines.

Heartland Growers has been in existence for over 30 years, and since the beginning we have made our name through the growing of annuals. There is nothing like spring in the Midwest, and with all the different varieties and colors we are certain you can find a fantastic product that will fit your planting needs!
For over 30 years, Heartland has been open to independent customers wanting to find a great deal on annuals, foliage, tropicals, and more. We've strived to create an environment that serves a wide variety of customers. And as we look towards 2020 we are looking to innovate our system of providing customer service with the option of pre-booked orders and faster check out process and moving towards an online platform.
Over the past 30 years, Heartland Growers has had the opportunity to serve all over the world. Our knowledge of the greenhouse industry has been passed to many across the globe and has provided Heartland an avenue to serve others directly. In recent years, the Gapinski Family has been actively involved in both the Midwest Food Bank as well as overseas mission work in Liberia.
All tours must be set up well in advance due to the nature of our seasonal business. Availability for tours changes as the seasons change, so please contact us for more information. You may reach out to our wholesale office as we require at least a 3 month notice if you are interested in touring our facility.
