Diana's journey to BHRT and Functional Medicine began like many of her clients. After the birth of her second daughter, Diana experienced greater-than-normal changes in her hormones, resulting in mood swings, chronic fatigue, and most significantly a severe, debilitating skin condition that made every-day activities difficult.
The human body is designed with a delicate network of chemical messengers (hormones) in the body. These messengers regulate our mood, skin integrity, body fat distribution, sexual health, and other health variables. Age, environmental toxins, stress, medications, and our diet can alter these hormones leading to undesirable symptoms like mood swings, low energy, heavy or irregular periods, infertility and pre-mature aging.
Traditional medicine often focuses on the symptoms of a given illness, but doesn't always address the root cause of these symptoms. Functional medicine is different because it seeks to focus on the core issues that are causing your symptoms. Rather than focusing on the symptoms exclusively, we view your symptoms as a guide to the real issue that's affecting your health negatively.

In 2018, after years of not knowing why I had such a hard time with weight, energy, and fertility, Diana was able to order the right labs and help balance my hormones. In doing so, I found out I needed thyroid medication and hormone therapy. I lost the weight (after lots of hard work and coaching by Diana) and gave birth to my rainbow baby this year! Not one doctor was able to give me information like Diana and Strategic Wellness Center.

I can’t begin to tell you how professional and relaxed the ladies make you feel! From the second I walked in the door to the moment I left, I was comfortable. the environment was peaceful and Diana and her team were so inviting! I finally feel like I’m receiving the actual care that I desperately needed. I experienced horrible anxiety and depression.
