Hello, beginning april 1st 2020, upon getting home 10 days after open heart surgery and pacemaker surgery, my caregivers were so great for my condition, which, at first was wheel chair, dont reach overhead nor floor. After a couple weeks of help, i moved to mostly walker. So besides cooking, dishes, and laundry, Brenda began teaching me to cook flavorful, healthy casseroles. Also very needed was talk therapy. Brenda was quite great a listener,: my dear Sue was ia nursing home. Being alone worried was not easy.

As excited as I was to join your company I could not have been happier to been decline as a employee. I had my very first interview on the 18th of this month at 7 a.m. It's 7 a.m, ok no problem I'll wait for about 10 minutes. As she's late for the interview I text her a few times. No response. This point I gave up. It's been about half an hour and I get no apologizes for not showing up. A few days later I get a text from Alegre about the position again. I called this time. A lady picked up the phone agreed to do the interview with me. Again super excited waiting

I had a very pleasant experience with Alegre. The management and staff are very good at communication. Sheryl does a very good job of being responsive and adhering to your schedule/ availability. She really cares for her clients as well as for her employees. Alegre does a good job of making sure staff and clients are comfortable with each other.

The care provider was very loving and caring. She was open to adjusting the instructions to the kids comfort level. She reads to the little one, feeds him with patience and plays various toys with him. The kid adjusted very well with her. Very happy with Pearl and hence requested her for various reservations.

Working at Alegre Home care is really good experience for me as child care assistant and it's very flexible and easy because I'm a full time student. In my experience working in San Jose area for almost 1 year I became a very active and a very fun person because of the kids that I work with and play with each time I go to work. Next, this job has helped me to prepare for my future career of becoming of Child Psychologist. Lastly, the manager here in San Jose named Sheryl Javier was very nice and helpful to me to help me with my schedule, I highly recommend you to work here and for those who needs

The staff at Alegre is extremely professional, caring and attentive to the needs of their clients. Ruby was the caregiver assigned to care for my mother, so that I could attend my daughters wedding. Ruby was AMAZING and from the initial phone call to the last day that she was with mom, she was superb! She is truly an angel sent from above and a wonderful care provider! Thank you Alegre. Ruby is amazing and has taken my Dad out of his slump. He is in a much better place now that he has Ruby’s support. He has improved his daily hygiene and activity level. He has a regular routine that he so needed and Ruby incorporates a regular meal while she’s with him. We look forward to seeing more progress and improved health. All COVID safety protocols are followed.

I really enjoyed working for the San Jose office. It really does make a difference when you have a boss who tries her best to make a schedule work with you and tries to give as many hours as possible that you want. She also always did her best to answer any questions to the best of her knowledge. She is also very understanding and helpful with any concerns that may arise. So if you are a caregiver and need a job she will be happy to have you. It's just part of life that I had to leave but if I could stay I would.

My supervisor Sheryl is amazing! She works with my schedule & provides PPE when needed.sheryl is very compassionate & Easy to talk to about anything when your having an issue.I like working with alegre care because of the flexibility. As a frontline essential worker I feel safe working, with the PPE & also with the accommodations of a hotel if needed because of being exposed to covid.

I could not have been more satisfied with Alegre Home Care. While not exactly a good customer because I would occasionally have last-minute changes, the Alegre staff who schedule caregivers were extremely accommodating and flexible. We had very few issues but Alegre always had options/solutions.
I was arranging care for a Spanish speaking senior and Alegre had perfect caregivers with a variety of languages spoken. They are attentive to the needs of the client and were well-versed in being proactive and most importantly, VERY PATIENT in difficult situations. The senior was a "wanderer"

Going out of business? I find it baffling that after inquiring about a caregiver for my father twice a week for a few hours a day they say they have no one available. I would not recommend this company for the mere fact of poor communication. Owner Charles Symes should check in with this location to see why the staff isn't better organized to provide a simple twice a week caregiver for a potential client.
