Carmela has been in the dental world for over 25 years so far, 20 of which were spent working with Dr. Tom Adamich as a periodontal hygienist. Following a brief stint in Seal Beach, she is excited to return to her original office in Huntington Beach to join our team! She completed her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at the University of Southern California.

With over 15 years of experience in the field of dentistry, Dr. Braga has proven himself to be an outstanding clinician, especially in the specialties of periodontics and implant dentistry. He feels very blessed to have the specialized knowledge and training needed to actually "grow" new bone/soft tissue, saving patients' natural dental structure or creating a healthy foundation for new teeth.
Many general dentists are capable and trained to perform basic periodontal treatments, and a few are even able to handle more complex procedures. However, their limited training consists mostly of weekend training courses that don't provide "hands-on" instruction.
In contrast, Dr. Braga and other specialists in periodontics have completed three additional years of full-time specialty training in dental surgery (i.e., a residency) after dental school.In addition, to become certified by the American Board of Periodontology, they must show mastery in diagnosing and treating all stages of periodontal disease and placing dental implants.

Dr. Braga is hands down the most excellent, qualified, and caring surgeon in Orange County. As a local dentist I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Braga for many years. I have trusted him with the care of many of my patients but also with friends, family, and even with my own gums! Sometimes even dentists need gum surgery or implants, and there is not one person I would feel more comfortable with than Dr. Braga. He is thoughtful, gentle, kind, and meticulous. I am also so excited for his brand new practice location, which has recently been renovated with all the latest and greatest cutting

Dr. Braga is the ultimate professional with a very caring heart. He takes the time to explain each phase of a procedure, and works very closely with my dentist. Quality of work, communication and caring chair-side manner are the best.
My implant was the first major dental work I have ever had in my entire life. Dr. Braga walked me through every step of the procedure, checking in with me along the way, and made sure I was comfortable with the entire yearlong process.

This review is long past due but with the opening of his new practice I thought it was the perfect time. A few years back, I was fortunate to have Dr. Braga work on me for a cosmetic periodontal gum surgery. I"m so glad I did! I had to include my before and after of my "esthetic crown lengthening" because the pictures speak for themselves! I'd always been embarrassed about my "gummy" smile but after the procedure I truly realized how much my gummy smile had been affecting my self-confidence. This surgery was truly life changing!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Justin Braga’s for over four years. I started my first implant procedure in 2016 and was extremely satisfied throughout the entire process. He even warranties his treatment by performing an examination once a year to check the health of the implant.
There was no doubt in my mind that when I had another root canal tooth fracture, I’d want to have my next dental implant placed by Dr. Braga again. So glad I have found Dr. Braga. He’s caring, fun, takes time to explain the process and an expert in dental implant surgery.
