I am fortunate to have come from a rich medical and psychoanalytic tradition. My medical school was named after Ignac Semmelweis - a XIX century doctor who saved the lives of millions of mothers by discovering that proper hand washing protects them from pathogens. He came to this discovery by carefully considering the symptoms and the prevailing medical practices.
Insurance: I do not accept any insurance because our health care system discriminates against mental health. This does not allow me to provide you with the best possible care and maximum protection of your privacy. How can you get reimbursed from your insurance company? Please be aware that your insurance company will request diagnostic, treatment and often sensitive, personal information about you and may or may not cover the services provided.
