Services
Do you or others close to you see you as a chronic worrier? Do you spend hours ruminating about past mistakes or future challenges? Are you suffering from insomnia as anxiety holds you even at night? Do you find yourself repeating certain rituals or insisting on a set order of proceeding through many of your routines?
Are you growing increasingly apprehensive as you prepare to relocate to a new town or state? Start a new job? Take a new career direction? Are you worried about how becoming a parent will affect your relationship or marriage? Or perhaps you're about to see your last child off to college and concerned that you and your spouse have lost each other through the years of parenting?
Has a major life event such as an illness, injury, accident left you feeling overwhelmed? Did you experience a neglect or abuse as a child? Do you feel on edge or wired a lot of the time? Or conversely, do you feel numb? Do you have consistent trouble sleeping and relaxing? Do you find yourself on alert much of the time, anticipating danger or threat?
If your relationship has been floundering or sinking and thoughts of your partner habitually are accompanied by anger, sadness or fear, you are suffering. If you can no longer look to your spouse as a port in the storm, you are probably feeling very lonely and discouraged. This is where a therapist can provide you both with new ways of enriching your marriage and addressing tensions.
As you can read under my Specialties, one of my core areas of clinical practice is couples therapy. I have more than twenty years experience and nearly ten years of specialization with this population. Presently, nearly half of my practice is devoted to working with couples. The vast majority of these clients are in committed relationships while some are seeking to iron out areas of concern prior to settling down together.

It was really challenging work with her, and we often would get very upset during sessions. But that was because to make a marriage work, you have to confront things about yourself that don't feel good. It was life changing therapy. I highly recommend her. She's pricey, but worth

My husband and I had tried multiple options to help our marriage with limited success, in the face of what seemed like insurmountable problems. Happily, we found Suzanne. She is not a therapist who just lets you ramble for an hour while charging big bucks. She sets clear goals and works with you to achieve those goals in a structured methodology. We have been complete with therapy for 6 months now, have had several big life stressors during that time, and we're still going strong. Equally as valuable as the skills and healing we achieved is the knowledge that yes, this marriage can work, and
