Almost Home Mortgage LLC was established in 2014 but is certainly not new to this industry. Almost Home Mortgage was created by blending two highly established lending and service entities to create a knowledge and service based Mortgage Company. Barbara Gallagher (McDonald) started her career in the mortgage industry in 1987.

We used Almost Home Mortgage to refinance our home, and we were truly impressed by Barbara and her staff. We had some difficulties with appraisals, but she was patient and helped us deal with all of our issues. She took the time to come out to our house, explained the entire process and all the paperwork, and made the whole experience as easy as possible. I cannot say enough about how great Barbara and Almost Home Mortgage is. I highly recommend them.

Our credit union recommended this company to refinance our home equity loan into a mortgage since HE loan interest is no longer tax deductible. Barbara met with us and most of it was done over the phone. We met with her twice. Once to give her our personal identification and second to have our closing.
She was extremely professional and very personable. We had concerns about the bank who would be taking our loan over and she assured us she would get us the best possible rate and company. We were very impressed with her service and expert knowledge in the field.

I first met Barbara when I was referred to her as an ABCO member. I was immediately comfortable with her. Her knowledge is off the charts but it is her humility and warmth of personality that drew us in. She treats you as if you are her only customer!
