Had my first massage with Magen she was outstanding. I especially liked how she inter grated hot stones into the treatment!

I don't write reviews often but im just so disappointed. I've gone to this salon several times with great results but this time im left with very chunky/brassy highlights. Also, there was a significant up-charge "due to covid" which i was not aware of until it was time to pay.
for $200 i should love my hair. do not recommend.

I reached out privately to the salon to share my bad experience and give them a chance to fix the situation and was told they would be reaching back out to me and then never did. My hair had been untouched in 3+ years. I have light brown hair. I asked for blonde streaks in my hair and a cut. I was split between 2 sylists. Both stylists were extremely rushed and rough on my hair. The brushing and washing was extremely uncomfortable, felt like my hair was being ripped out. I was 9 months pregnant, a week until my due date- was counting on having nice hair for photos with my newborn- was at the salon

I have been in the area for 3 years now and have used a different salon each time, unable to find someone i loved as much as my previous stylist back home. someone gave me a giftacard here so I tried the out and got amazing results! Sarah was very professional, kind. I showed her a picture of my ideal hair and she gave me highlights and lowlights and then a toner and created exactly the look I was going for. She spent close to 2.5 hours with me and really took her time. She even gave me tips on maintenance and did not try to upsell me on any in salon products. I will definitely be going back!

This was one of my favorite places in Rochester, and I would go often for my hair for years. It's hands down the place in the area. Larry, the owner, was always able to execute whatever I wanted. And everyone here is so friendly and wonderful. He also carries high end products that really work.

I've been to many well rated salons throughout the Rochester area and have never felt so accommodated and comfortable as I do at Larijames. I only ever have Lindsey do my hair and trust no matter what I ask for (even if it's, "just do whatever") I always leave extremely pleased with the result. She always nails the exact color I have in mind even when I can't exactly explain it to her and even when I'm just in for a trim I still feel like I leave feeling 10 times better than I did when I arrived. I have been to this salon twice now (after being referred by a coworker). I saw Brittany the first time who did a fabulous job on my first balayage! I returned for a second visit excited to try a red/copper balayage. The stylist I saw for this visit added blonde highlights to my hair and then tried to add the red color by using a copper toner. When I saw no red/copper color the stylist was VERY accommodating and stayed extremely late trying to add more toner to get more red into my hair and darken up the blonde. Booking an appointment: You can request an appointment online and specify your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd preferred time and dates. They texted me the day before my 1st preferred time to confirm my appointment. Thankfully, I don't have too much of a life (in all seriousness) so I didn't mind this and accepted the appointment. Busier folks might prefer more of a lead-time.

I have been going to the Larijames salon for the past 21 years. I can honestly say that I have never left with a bad haircut or color. I leave feeling like a million dollars and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

This Salon is professional, very friendly, like family. Great products, too. I first went to Larijames Salon for lash extension. Sandy is absolutely awesome. She does not try to push you to products but instead focuses on what works for you. I trust no one else to do my lashes for me other than Sandy. After a few visits, I asked Sandy to recommend me a stylist because I was looking to have my hair cut but was apprehensive about working with someone new. I go here pretty often for a simple layered cut and followup bang trim about 4 weeks later. I adore sarah and randi. I had a bad style from Christian but i don't think he is still there! Cut and blow dry runs about $35. The bang trim is complimentary between cuts!!

Very underwhelmed by the quality of service. Had my make-up and hair done and both were disastrous. I believe that since I went on a Saturday, which is their busiest day, they scheduled me with their worst stylists but that's no excuse since I was charged premium prices for both services. I looked like an oompa-loompa from the make-up and my eye make-up was nowhere close to being evenly done. My hair looked like something I could have done at home for free. The teasing and finish was sloppy. Very disappointing.

I've been getting my hair cut her since about 1998 when the salon was just a converted house and not the behemoth building it is now. I would get the last appointment on Thursday or Friday, walk across the street from my apartment, and have some wine while getting my hair cut.

I never knew there were so many options and techniques you can do with your hair, from the simplest ways to style everyday hair to a fancier change up for a night on the town.

As soon as you walk in you can tell the staff here take pride in this salon, always full of product, bright and clean. Once you sit down they ask what you want to drink.

The only person I trust to cut, color, and style is Lindsey. She knows what she's doing, was trained at the Paul Mitchell school in NYC. They take pride in their work. I highly recommend any one and every one to go to her.

I came into Lari James salon for about a year for basic services, until my hair was fried! I gave them another chance and then again,..... they fried my hair... let me leave the salon with brassy hair, then when i called in to have it fixed, they charged me!!!!!!!!!!!! AGAIN! So not only now is my hair fried to the point i cant have it colored until the pieces they burnt off grows back, but before i came into the salon i had healthy, shiny really healthy hair. Not only was i upset with how horrible the stylists are trained.... but they all ask each other what do do as far as color... and argue

The best salon in Rochester, hands down. The folks here are extremely talented, and the owner is wonderful. My wife goes to Larijames every 3-4 months for hair, nails and facials. After visiting several different salons over the years, she says Larijames is by far the most professional, with the nicest interior and the best staff. According to her, she'll never go anywhere else. Every time she comes home after getting her hair done by the folks at Larijames she looks amazing. Highly recommended!!!
