The year was 1974, and the dream was serving the community of Conroe, Texas. Roy Morton acquired Conroe Welding Supply on the basis of serving the community while providing for his family. An astounding 46 years later, Roy has expanded the business to serve much of East Texas. When acquired in 1974, the company only employed a mere 10 people.
We are proud to say, that as of 2019, our team has grown to around 50 members. Conroe Welding Supply is a family owned and operated business with 3 generations working in the business. We offer a variety of products and services to a wide area of East Texas. We supply our products at a competitive price paired with friendly knowledgable service. You can browse through any of our products, and if you have any questions or need the current price of an item, our sales team is available, Monday thru Friday 8 AM-5 PM, and Saturday 8 AM-Noon, at (936) 539-3124.
We supply top of the line welding equipment with substantial factory warranties. Whether it is for the farm or a state of the art fabricating facility, when you purchase a machine from us, you receive more than just a product. We supply knowledge, know-how and most of all a full-filling customer experience.
We have an outstanding service department that can fix almost any problem your machine can develop. Our service technician works out of our Conroe location, but also works in the field and can make service calls to your facility. The hourly rate for machine repairs in store is $95.00 per hour. We also provide a calibration service for your welders.

I read a lot of good reviews, that was not my experience. The gentleman that waited on me did not really seem to be interested in helping me. I was actually going to purchase more items, but he was in such a hurry to get rid of me that I only paid for the gas cylinder and gas and went to the loading dock to pick it up. I received the cylinder and went home. When my existing cylinder ran out I swapped in my new (used) cylinder. Hooked up the gages and opened the valve, EMPTY... Saturday night and a wasted Sunday worth of work on our project...Second trip to Conroe Welding supply was a very different

This place is awesome for welding. I stopped here to look into picking up a torch. After several minutes exploring all the options. I mentioned I had some old ones at home. They suggested I save my money and get the old ones refurbished. I took a couple old Victor regulators and torches down that were given to me by my father in law to be serviced before I blew my face or a finger off. It took a week or so but when I got them back they looked operated like new. Better than new! The employees were super friendly and knowledgeable. They took several minutes to explain tips and tricks I wasn't aware

Welding supplies, restoring an old truck and have a mig welder, I need bottle of argon/CO2 mix to weld the thin metal on the truck. They had what I needed but pushed for the larger bottle, I opted for the small bottles because it's for smaller jobs in the garage. It's a local shop so if I need more they are close to me and prices aren't too bad.

Great company and customer service! They have been very helpful; infact months ago when I stopped by the store I spoke with the owner for a long time and he made several suggestions to help me save some money and gave me pointers on how to solve some issues with my project. Being that I'm new to welding I can use any and all the help that I can get! I will also be returning today to exchange one of my cylinders! I appreciate you guys and will be coming back for years to come.
