Freddie and his team are simply fantastic. We hired them for the second time this fall when we purchased a new home built in '68 with two chimneys that both needed repair. One was two stories and had suffered structural damage in a quake, and the other required rehab to the firebox. Freddie's crew was professional, hard working, and took pride in their work. We just enjoyed over a dozen fires over the holidays in our newly rehabbed and safe fireplaces and chimneys. Couldn't be happier with their work. Thank you Freddie, Nick, Kevin, John, and team!

Our fireplace was producing a lot of soot and fire was burning yellow. Found Fireplace Freddie on Yelp. Got prompt response and quickly scheduled an inspection. Scott arrived on time and did a thorough inspection. He was super enthusiastic and thorough. He promised to get across the scope of work and estimate at the earliest.

I had hired Fireplace Freddie to fix a number of issues with my chimney, including structural damage, internal cracks, and placement of the gas line. This family owned business was extremely responsive, courteous, and professional, clearly providing me with an estimate against a scope of work, and locking in a convenient time for the work to be performed. COVID protocols were followed, and the guys were sure to wear masks and coverings when performing the work. They also took special care to shield my home and furniture from any dust, ash, and other matter kicked up during the cleaning process

We had the best experience with Fireplace Freddie. We had two fireplace and chimneys serviced after years of deferred maintance as well as bringing them up to code. Their price was the best (of several) that I had quoted and they were the most clean, curteous and efficient subcontractors that we had during the extent of our remodel. We also converted from wood burning to gas and had gas logs installed. I love the look and can't wait until winter to turn them on!

They showed up as scheduled, even called when an opening became available prior to my appointment. The workers came on time (even a few mins early), wore masks, and worked quietly. They cleaned up the area after they were done. The follow through with phone calls was great. The family-owned business is friendly and easy to work with. I will definitely use them again.

I had Fireplace Freddie repair and update my fireplace and chimney. They did a great job. They got more gas going in the fireplace and located the source of a stubborn water leak in the chimney. They also reconfigured the design of the chimney to be sleeker and better looking. Kevin was great to work with and was very responsive during the entire job from estimate to completion. The overall quality of work was very good and the staff worked hard to get things right. A special mention to Kuno for his expertise, diligence and hard work reconstructing the chimney. Highly recommend this company.

We had Fireplace Freddie revamp and repair our chimneys/fireplaces last year. They did a great job. There is a lot of quality control in place, so the work was always checked on by a second set of eyes. Fireplace Freddie was outstanding! For a fair and reasonable price, they fixed our chimney and our replacement insert is absolutely breathtaking. All the workers were extremely respectful, safe and attentive. Their attention to detail was extraordinary and they made sure the work was done correctly. These people are great - I recommend them with great enthusiasm and thank them for their professionalism and excellence. We finally have a workable and safe fireplace! Now we just need the heat to subside so we can enjoy it ;-)

Fireplace Freddie arrived at my home on time and ready to work. Our chimney is over two stories in height with a flue that is offset at the 2nd floor by nearly 6 feet making cleaning more difficult. There tech had no trouble cleaning the flue and smoke shelf in a timely manner. He left no mess and was very professional in his workmanship and manners. i would highly recommend them for any chimney job and I plan on using them again in the future.

I used Fireplace Freddie in the heart of the COVID epidemic and their prices were very reasonable and their communication was great
I have a duplex and both chimneys and fireplaces needed to be rebuilt and brought to code
They did a really nice and professional job and a few weeks later after strong rain, I had a leak- they immediately came out to repair it but in the end it wasn't from their work- it was a roofing issue
I highly recommend them for any thing having to do with your fireplace

Iv'e been working here for a little while now and I really couldn't be happier. They make it a point to ensure everyone's taken care of and actively look for ways to improve. Checkups are a huge part of what we do to make sure the customer is completely happy with the work done, if for some reason there's even the slightest fault we will work with them to solve the issue. Excellent customer service and solid workmanship. We noticed that some of the brick in our firebox was coming out, so we knew we needed work on the firebox. Based on other reviews, we contacted Fireplace Freddie and were very satisfied with their responsiveness and efficiency. The only positive thing I can say about this company is that Juan and his partner who actually did the work were professionals and overall I am pleased with the job they did.
When it comes to communication, scheduling, ordering, and leadership I would rate them a solid F. There does not seem to be any one point person for the job and the only one who was consistently communicating with us was the one asking for payment.
