Little Vine Vineyards and Winery in Villa Rica, Carroll County, GA is bringing back a tradition of fine wines once produced in Western Georgia in the 1890's. This area of the state at one time was a major vineyard and winery center with some 20,000 acres planted in bunch grapes before prohibition.
The grapes at Little Vine Vineyards are the first commercial wine grapes planted in West Central Georgia since 1907 and the winery is the first constructed here in over 100 years.Just as Villa Rica was home to the nation's first gold rush in 1826, Little Vine is striving to reestablish the golden era of wine making here after a century long absence.

By adding sugar to our Blanc du Bois wine, it brings forward a crisp taste of white flowers and peaches. Otherwise known as Savannah's Heritage grape, it brings jam-like flavors of dried cherries and molasses to the table with hints of toasted vanilla. This native Virginia grape has a distinctive dark flavor unlike other wines, but the earthy and bold flavors of coffee and plums keeps you coming back for more.

Found this place be chance after looking for wineries in the West GA area. Have been a couple of times and each time we’ve had fun. Live music, once outside during summer months and once indoor during colder time and each time was just a relaxing, comfortable time.
Would highly recommend to anybody looking for something nice to do for a date night or an after brunch wine tasting.
The selection is good so taste the full flight of wines to find your sweet spot.

It was a while back when I went here but my wine club went, about 12 of us. We enjoyed the great informative tour of the winery. The staff were so kind and fun to us all. It was a great day on the back porch. A little cool, so not many people, so we had a lot of attention. The snacks were good and the wine great! I would love to go again, especially since I know now they have music on the back porch.

Small winery with a nice selection of wines. The owners are personable and take the time to speak with customers. Outdoor seating is the order of the day and covid rules are to be expected, especially for larger groups. I've been here a couple of times and find that it's a nice little find not too far from home so it's an easy trip. On Saturday, they have live music and a food truck. The place started to fill up and exceed capacity when we departed on our last Saturday visit. My wife and I enjoy the blueberry wine and we bought a couple bottles to take home. We'll be back for sure.

I discovered this gem late last year. My favorite is the Midnight Blue, a really good red wine with distinct blueberry flavor. My close second favorite is the Three L’s, another good red wine that’s dryer than the Midnight Blue and not as sweet. Almost tied with it is the Red Dirt Road Red Blend. If you like a red dessert or sweeter wine, the Savannah Seaport is exceptional!! All of this along with some really nice people and buying their wines is helping the local economy.
