My partner and I worked with Austin to find a new home in Detroit and could not be happier with the experience.
We had ALL of the potential complications: out of state buyers, first time buyers, tight time line (we had 5 months from first contact to our move date. We closed in 3.), buying during covid, and (admittedly) discerning tastes. Austin handled it all in stride.
We sent Austin a list of key features we knew we wanted and properties we knew we wanted to see and he blocked off an entire weekend to tour condos & houses with us and offered additional dates if we needed a second visit. He

Austin was more than a pleasure to work with. Very professional, yet personable. We looked at a few houses before making any offers and he was patient through the whole process. We ran into structural issues with a house we plan to purchase and before just accepting concessions he offered great advise for a first-time buyer. We ultimately ended up with our dream home and couldn't be happier!

I appreciate everyone is entitled to their opinion, it comes down to individual experience with their agent and situation. We just bought a place in Detroit (in record time no less). It was an international move for us and not an easy one. So many roadblocks along the way on so many levels. Matthew Richmond was not only super responsive to each and every one of our questions, he took the sting out of our process above and beyond what was expected. He was a wealth of information and truly cared, he proved it more than once. This is not my first house, I have dealt with many agents in several countries
