We had water coming into our basement from our hatchway after heavy rains. Andi came over and determined that it was not the Bilco doors but the concrete around the edge which was not only breaking down but not graded so water runs away from the house. He came and ground the concrete properly sloping it away and repaved it with new concrete as well as caulked around the perimeter.
I am happy to report after many heavy days of rain our basement and stairs are dry.
I would definitely use General Masonry again and highly recommend Andi and his crew.

General Masonry is the only place anyone should ever call for any kind of masonry work. Period. Andi and his workers were beyond amazing. First, Andi came out multiple times because we weren’t really sure of what we wanted. We basically asked him what we should do with the area as we didn’t really know what would be best. Then after we decided what we wanted it took us a while to decide to do it (we did a huge project). We got a handful of quotes for the work and he was not only one of the least expensive he also made us feel the most comfortable that is would be done right. The first time

Andi and his crew were a pleasure to deal with. I had considered a landscaper for my project, wall and walkway, and VERY glad I chose to use Andi. It opened up some added detail I believe would be nearly impossible for a landscaper to recreate. Andi and his crew were here every day for 8 days to complete my project. The job site was picked up as much as practical every night. Some of what you cannot see is the quality and preparation done. I would not hesitate to have Andi back for other projects. Excellent job!!!
