Eddy's Welding Inc. is a full-service welding and fabrication shop located in Ellicott City Maryland. We are in the business of fabrication and erection of miscellaneous and structural steel. We specialize in building and renovations to schools, churches, retail stores, office buildings, hospitals, parking garages, governmental agencies, military facilities, high security and classified areas.

Eddy's Welding, Inc was founded in 1987 by Danny & Shirley Eddy, the parents of the current owner, JD Eddy II. Danny & Shirley did small welding jobs out of a small garage behind their house in Ellicott City while working for a local paper mill. In 1991, the company became incorporated. JD bought 50% of the business from his mother in 1994 where the company moved into a shop inside of the papermill.
Our Facility is surrounded by the beautiful scenic view of the Patapsco Valley State Park. From 695 take 70 West to 29 North to the end, At the light make a right onto Rogers Avenue, Make your 2nd left on to Old Frederick Road which is at the circle, make your 3rd left on Daniels Road, go all the way to the end of the road.

We had a kitchen chair that needed a welding repair. We met Steve who walked us through the process and pricing. He was able to help us on the spot, and after no more than 15 minutes he returned with our repaired chair with a price that was reasonable. We highly recommend Steve and Eddy’s Welding.

I had a rod iron kitchen stool that developed broken welds. I contacted Eddy's and spoke to Charles. I explained my issue and he asked for pictures. I sent them via email and he provided a price. I drove the stool to their shop and he fixed it while I waited (same day). He was very pleasant and and fixed my stool. The price was good as well. What more can you ask for?

My 2001 Ford Ranger had a rusted bed and probably needed to be replaced. Eddy’s welding worked no less than a miracle and not only removed the rusted parts, but refabricated and welded new steel and supports to the bed. The care and expediency they took with my truck went well above and beyond not only in workmanship, but also in customer service. Turn around time was two days. Highly recommend this business. Charles was personable, knowledgeable and has excellent communication skills. James’ workmanship is beautiful. I highly recommend this business for all of your welding needs.

I had two emergency situations that needed to to be addressed promptly. Bending and shearing sheet metal for our contract project on two different dates. Charles and James were responsive and kept our job on schedule. Honestly, I’m used to waiting weeks for what they did in hours. Impressive.

Every once in a while you encounter folks who renew your faith in humanity. I live in the community and needed assistance with a refrigerator freezer stainless steel door handle. Melody Eddy and Anthony of Eddy’s Welding cared enough to see the tough position I was in and took the few minutes to extend a hand to a neighbor, removing a very stuck set screw and re-threading the handle that is no longer produced. Genius! My wife and I are back in business, because of their kindness and expertise.

I called Eddy's Welding to inquire about some light gauge work. The project involved metal, but other than that really had nothing to do with what Eddy's does. I learned this rather quickly, and the call could have been over. But they stayed on the line asking about my project so they could point me in the right direction and connect me with a reputable company. Stand up move. Must be a good business to be allies with.

My experience here was great. I needed fittings welded on a custom radiator for a car project. Because I was fitting a big engine in a very small engine bay, I had little room left for the radiator. The fittings had to be in exactly the right places and at the right angles. The outlet was a 90 degree fitting that I thought would be impossible to weld because of how tight the return was to the back plane of the radiator. Charles told me they could do it, and Bruce and Stephen did a great job making it all work! Very skilled, excellent communication, and friendly. I highly recommend them!

Eddy’s welding is the absolute best! Their staff is friendly, professional, and just awesome to work with. I was concerned that my job would be too small for such a big facility, but they treated me as if I was one of their top clients. I ordered an egg chair and after waiting 3 months the stand did not fit into the base. They fixed my problem within an hour and for a reasonable price! I’m so grateful for Eddy’s.

We highly recommend Eddy’s Welding for steel fabrication and installation. Recently we removed a few walls in our 1950’s home and needed a steel support beam and four adjustable columns. We got discouraged… after receiving outrageous pricing from several companies that seemed uninterested in the project. Five Stars! i am fairly critical and rarely post but this shop was so good I had to comment! 1. High quality work - welds, fit, finish, follow up 2. Responsive - answer phone, quote quickly, follow up promptly, communicate issues if they arise. 3. Professional - they listen to you and address all aspects up front, clearly and in a positive, constructive manner. 4. Courteous - Pleasant voice and positive demeanor, - shop and office personnel. I had a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. I found out Christmas Eve that it was defected I called around to get it welded and fixed no 1 was open but this shop. I never got the guy name but I called the cell phone that was on the answering machine and sent the picture of my girlfriends gift he reply rite away. He wasn't even in the shop . He left his home to help me with my problem, fixed it perfectly and didn't even charge me. He had Excellent service and I highly recommend the shop

Unprofessional, liar and dishonest owner. Take your business elsewhere. I approached the shop with a steering wheel job and they acknowledged there will difficulty with the project. However, they promised if they run into issues and the project cannot be done my money will be refunded and the steering wheel returned.
At the first attempt, the shop was unsuccessful with the job. The professional thing to do was to call me and let me know. Instead, when I called to inquire on the project completion, I was informed they run into issues with the traditional welding and decided to use JB welding. I

I would never recommend this company to anyone! This company is not honest with their estimates! I had to pay double what my estimate was. They completed the task made it sloppy and they did not inform me it was going to cost double was I was quoted. I spoke to the owner but he refused to honor our estimate they provided to me. I was forced to pay the bill or I would not be able to take my welded repaired fountain home. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!
