My new husband and I highly recommend Kathy’s cakes. We knew we found the one just from her tastings. Her and her husband were extremely nice and lovely to work with. The cake came out beautiful and so delicious, our guests couldn’t get enough of it! They couldn’t decide if the strawberry or the vanilla was better. Can’t wait to order from them again!

Unfortunately, Kathy just isn't the best at communication. My (now) husband and I had tried her cake and more than one open house and found it to be delicious (even if the lemon - which I generally do not care for). We communicated about samples and received 3 different very small slivers of cake based on what she had made that week. Two of the three were excellent, but the chocolate was something of a disappointment - no big, maybe it was just tasting it alongside two other very tasty flavors.

Kathy was amazing to work with! Her ability to create two DELICIOUS cakes exactly the way we described it to her was incredible. We were complimented left and right for how great our cakes looked, and those compliments quickly shifted to how amazing the cake tasted! I had this cake at Andrea Cortez's wedding. It was probably the best cake I've ever had (not to be dramatic). There were hints of cinnamon and coconut, and the frosting was perfectly sweet. I had two pieces at the reception, and then myself, the bride, and another bridesmaid ate the remaining cake out of a container at the end of then night. SO delicious!

Kathy did our wedding cake. I am not much a sweets person so I left this to my now wife to manage. Kathy was creative and made a touchless cake tasting situation in the midst of COViD. When we had to downsize our wedding she was flexible with making a smaller cake to suit our guest size. And the cake... oh my goodness! I have to say it was definitely one of the best cakes I have ever tasted. We chose French vanilla with strawberry cream cheese. It was just moist and flavorful. All of our guests raved about how delicious the cake tasted. When we returned from our mini-moon, all the cake was gone

Her Chocolate chocolate chip cake with Bailey's chocolate mousse was gone before the end of the night. I wish she had provided cake stands, however the cakes themself were delicious. Thank you!!

Booked her for my wedding and received SO many compliments on the cake flavor and texture.
She also has VOLUMES of pictures of cakes she’s made previously. That was probably one of the more helpful things; I’d visited several other cake vendors and this was definitely useful. I actually ended up piecing together the design for my cake, based on the pictures she had. They were better than some of the pictures I found on Pinterest.
She was very accommodating and very reasonably priced. She sat and talked to us for almost an hour about various options, and just seemed like we wanted to make

The best cake ever!! I attended the Austin Bridal Extravaganza and Kathy's booth was the first one we stopped at. We tried a sample of her cake and loved it. We stopped at most of the cake booths and sampled others while there, NONE of them compared to hers. Before we left for the day we stopped by her booth one more time and tried the sample again… to make sure she was the one we were going to book (yes it was that good). Kathy made the wedding cakes for both daughters!! They were gorgeous and delicious! My oldest daughter had no cake left so Kathy was kind enough to make me a cake same design as the wedding cake for my daughters return from her honeymoon. She also made a cake for my youngest daughter when her cake topper was destroyed during Hurricane Harvey! I highly recommend her! Best cakes ever

I know it's probably weird to leave a review for a service I never actually used but anyway... I had a very specific vision in mind for what I wanted my cake to look like. I contacted Kathy to discuss what I wanted and to get a quote. She was very upfront with me right away about how she felt she couldn't fulfill my request and immediately offered to give me some names of people she knew who could. I just think it's a great honest business practice and show of character for her to prioritize my vision for my cake over her business. I highly recommend her.

Kathy is the sweetest person ever! She kindly fit in an appointment to accommodate us since we lived 3 hours away. During our visit, she showed us her portfolio and provided tastings which reassured us she was the best pick for our wedding cake/cupcakes. She was flexible in providing both options, since we aren't enormous cake fans, which allowed us to choose a spice cake with cream cheese frosting and vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. When we saw it on the wedding day, the cake was absolutely gorgeous and it tasted even better! We recommend Kathy to everyone, including her affordable pricing

The only good thing about this was the cake tasted good. I sent Kathy an email MONTHS before my wedding telling her what I needed. I had not heard from her so I sent her a email a week before asking if she needed anything from me. No response. Day of wedding she FAILS to deliver what I asked. She sends a plain cake. Thankfully just in roses sees this problem and handles it so I don't even have to be told of Kathy's failure. Just in roses made my cake beautiful. Kathy, if you can't deliver on such an important day then why are you even in this business? Had my florist not stepped

We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our cake by Kathy. We first met Kathy at an open house at our venue, and from then on we knew she would be the one to make our wedding cake. We saw her a few months later at the bridal expo, and couldn't wait to sample more of her delicious cakes. She was so friendly and so easy to work with. She gave us everything we wanted and more. We are so excited for our one year anniversary to eat her delicious cake again! We cannot thank her enough for being apart of our big day.

Kathy made my wedding cake back in 2010 - 8 years later people STILL ask for a referral because it was so beautiful and so delicious. Kathy was easy to work with and delivered a perfect cake. I wish I could tell you how good it was on our first anniversary, but we just ate it all during our honeymoon! We couldn't help ourselves! If I could give her 10 stars I absolutely would!

Cake tasting was definitely a day to look forward to in our daughter and son-in-law's wedding planning journey. They had five appointments in one weekend, and Kathy's cakes and pricing were by far the best quality. Even five days after the wedding, the left-overs taste as moist as they did the day the cake was served.
