Mike Smiley was born and raised in Northeast Florida and has watched each county grow and flourish to what it is today. Mike was introduced to construction over 18 years ago starting as an Assistant Superintendent for Dr. Horton.
He continued his journey over the years working for Mercedes as a Superintendent and Reeves Insulation as a Commercial Project Manager. While working for Dream finders Mike met his wife and settled roots with his family in Greencove Springs, Florida. In 2014 his passion for building high quality home and the importance of keeping the personable building experience helped Mike decide to follow his dreams and start-up Ashlar Home Builders.
