Services
Located on the grounds of the Macatawa Bay Yacht Club, the MBJA is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission to create the next generation of West Michigan sailors and bring new faces into the sport. Over the past 35 years, MBJA has enabled countless participants and graduates to learn the joys and thrills that come from sailing on the open water.
We have a beautiful main dining room that can seat 180 that looks out on Macatawa Bay. Great service from our wonderful staff paired with the glorious view of the water, including passing ships of all kinds, make any event beautiful and relaxing. This setting is beautiful for weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties or any other reason to hold an event in a beautiful venue.
Macatawa Bay Yacht Club has been a special, magical place for its members, family, and friends since 1899. Our mission is to promote camaraderie and enrich shared experiences through nautical activities, social events, and education. Additional active fleets such as the tradtional 110s, the timeless S2 7.9 One Design, Melges 17, and Melges 20 provide a broad selection of sailing competition for both novice and experienced sailors. In addition, MBYC hosts several regional and national events each year that bring some of the worlds best sailors to West Michigan.
A number of regattas cancelled or scaled back what was offered this year and so we are happy to be the final race in the circuit for the TP52 racers on the. Thank you for the wonderful turn out of racers for the Leukemia cup in these unusual times.

Congratulations to the winners of the four classes that ran this year, Michael Norris in the VX One Katana, Mitch Padnos in the Club Swan 42 Sufficient Reason, Sam Nedeau in the Melges 24 Green, Laura McCranner in.The MBYC got a clean sweep at the Anchorage Cup and we want to say thank you and congratulations to our members.

Excellent facility with a very accommodating staff. Dockage is protected with first rate docks and utilities. Clubhouse is beautiful. Plenty of grass space to fold sails and lounge around. Excellent youth sailing facility. We love having our regatta at MBYC, we'll be back!

Premium spot on the water. Seems like a top notch facility. Food was not stellar, but reasonable for a yacht club vs a restaurant.

Beautiful buildings & location. Located right on the channel for quick access to the big lake. Love what they do to sponsor kids interested in learning to sail!

Always a great time at MBYC! Drinks are well priced for a members-only club - which is handy for the skippers of non-member crews. Service is on top, and the menu is great. Docks and other amenities are limited, but excellent.
