Medical Home Care Professionals was established in 1985 by our founder/owner/CEO Kathy McKillop who is a nurse by trade. Her passion to care for patients at home came from her days in the hospital caring for patients and realized that people do so much better when they can be cared for at home.
Our company's success begins with our exceptional staff. Several are honored recipients of statewide awards at our annual CAHSAH (California Association for Health Services at Home) conferences. From 2012-2013 we had four employees receive a local Healthcare Hero Award! From our administration and office support team to our clinicians, we are dedicated, caring professionals.

Medical Home Care Professionals was established in 1985 by our founder/owner/CEO Kathy McKillop who is a nurse by trade. Her passion to care for patients at home came from her days in the hospital caring for patients and realized that people do so much better when they can be cared for at home.
She cared for a patient in the hospital who had ALS and was young and she helped her get home and Kathy was able to recruit other nurses to help her care for the patient so she didn't have to be in the hospital and could have a better life at home.From this one patient that she treated and cared for at home came the idea to treat other patients at home for after care from injury, surgery and many other diagnoses.

As a Medicare certified, state licensed agency, we provide services through our Home Care and Facility Staffing divisions. Every employee is extensively interviewed, skills tested, background screened, bonded and insured for safe secure home care and competent facility staffing. Supervisors are available 24 hours per day 7 days a week.
