First off, the concept and experience here used to be a top KC attraction. Through no fault of the excellent cast, the maintenance at this place now resembles a poorly organized trash dump. This year in particular, many of the concession stands were completely understaffed or unopened at all. The structures are slowly imploding around the site. There are without a doubt, building constructed in the 1400’s that probably are in better shape physically than this site. For a facility that generates as much revenue as this appears, (based upon the massive crowd sizes), how have they put no funds back

Good place to visit. Just too dang crowded. Good time to be had. Parking's free. Kids will enjoy it. People who like to dress up and "blend" in seem to enjoy their escape. You gotta go at least once.😋

We always love this place! It's so big and there is so much to do. Shows and jousting to watch, games (archery, axe and knife throwing, test of strength, kids games) decent food to eat, lots of shopping by so many talented individuals, plus so much more. Definitely fun to be had by the whole family. Worth the price for sure.

Always fun. Been going here 5 years and counting. Never fails to be a blast with the family. It really just gets better every year. So grab a turkey leg, dress in your finest togs/ fairy/gypsy/pirate attire and have a medieval good time!
