International Wine Vault (IWV) opened for business in 2000 and since inception, has been recognized as a leader in the storage, packing, handling and shipping of wine. Our customers include oenophiles and investors who enjoy collecting and imbibing wine. Our prestigious facilities provide a protected environment, storing personal collections from 1 case to 5,000 cases.
IWV's state-of-the-art climate control system ensures your wine stays at an optimal temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity level of 70% with redundant sensors to ensure this environment is maintained, protecting the integrity of the wine. The cooler temperatures help to slow the aging process and the proper humidity prevents the cork from drying out.
Whether it's local delivery in the Boston / New England area or worldwide shipping, we can get your wine where you want it when you want it. International Wine Vault strives to be efficient, safe and cost effective with our wine shipping services for the entire Boston and New England region. We move wine for wine stores, auction houses, collectors, moving companies, internet retailers, and vineyards.
We offer a private event room onsite to host dinners or wine tastings. The space features a wine fridge, TV, tableware, selection of wine glasses, lounge and a dining area. The space also features an adjacent separate room with a full kitchen, including a refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove top, and microwave.

I don't even know how to clearly define how Rude and off the charts weird my experience was with International Wine Vault.
But, I'll attempt to describe it anyway.
I was trying to help a friend ship his whisky to an auction house in the UK.
I had previously helped him with this last year with IWV and everything went well.
This time... Holy sh-t??!?.
The auction house in the UK sends us an email stating that they have the ok with IWV to ship... we contact IWV to simply confirm their ok before shipping, as they make it very clear they will send the boxes back if you don't arrange

Two stars for the location and the facilities, but I would give negative stars for everything else.
We contacted them to store 10-12 cases of wine and we got very quick response that wine storage was available and we made an appointment at the Framingham facility to meet with Paul.
When we went to drop off the wine we were told no storage was available for 12 cases, neither for 20 or 24 cases which is advertised, but we could rent a 30 case locker for more than double the price than for the 12 cases we actually needed. We looked at the locker and since we had the wine in the car and it is a 40

Paul and his team do a fantastic job of taking care of his customers. The facility is first rate and very professional. Paul recently helped me ship wine to auction.
