Services
Our Italian sweet wines will ultimately be estate grown and produced. Our goal with the wine tours is to create an atmosphere of relaxation and recreation on the waters at Buckeye Lake. The winemaker's selection is a limited release blend of Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc and is clean, bright and fruity.
As a member you will receive 4 shipments of 3 bottles of Buckeye Lake Winery wine per year billed and sent quarterly in January, April, July and October. This is not a guarantee as there are not unlimited tables in the facility and membership is growing. For each quarter's shipment, we use your current credit card (that we keep on file) with expiration date valid through the current year.

The atmosphere is really nice, and the service was really great. Buuuut, the wine left very little to be desired. There was this weird, underlying taste in every sample, almost sour or bad. It was such a bummer. The charcuterie plate was fantastic with Manchego, smoked Gouda, and an aged cheddar. Unfortunately, the most important part just didn’t cut it for any of the four of us who visited.

Tasty but way overpriced $13 Winery salad served in a plastic box which obviously came straight out of a Krogers salad tub and some blue cheese crumbles & pecans tossed on it. So-called $18 Chacuterie board had several pepperoni & salami with bland water crackers & boring cheese. Sweet Lake View wine very tasty & suitably priced $21. Attentive server. Beautiful place. Great Mill Street Blues trio!

Decided to revisit since we haven't been in over a year, charcuterie board was updated from the last time we were there which was nice. Still have a small wine list to choose from, nice wine just not what we were looking for this evening. We did get to enjoy a beautiful sunset from the location and the staff was amazing. Hopefully the kitchen will get back open soon not a big fan of food trucks.

My wife and I came here for the first time on Sunday. We told our server this was our first visit, so we figured there would be no issues. We both ordered burgers and iced teas from the brunch menu. Upon arrival of the food, mine was very undercooked with less than crispy/dry bacon, as I had ordered. The server took it back, and returned in about 10 minutes with a properly-cooked meal. Both burgers were very good, but the attention to detail was lacking. I really thought by telling it was our first visit, they would have made sure the experience was just right. Go visit, but don't be surprised

Love the Winery! I'll admit it was not love upon first visit, but boy have they stepped up their game and given us even more reason to not judge a place by visiting right after first opening. The vibe, the view...it's all good. A place we go to unwind, listen to good music, sip wine...slushies and cocktails. We love the food. The fried green oooooooooooooooooooobeans, winery salad, bradwich sandwich. All h

Truly a hidden gem. Incredible long, gravel driveway leading to the lakeside. Rustic, modern, and clean interior. Susie our waitress was the best! Incredible food! We enjoyed the Brussels sprouts appetizer and capped it with the wagyu burger & cauliflower crust margherita pizza. If you're anywhere within an hour you owe it to yourself to GO! Perfect for date nights. Will definitely be returning.

Only stopped in for a drink. My grill friend and I had the wine slushy, they were good, I personally like the red better than the white. Great atmosphere inside and out with waterfront patio seating. They have live music and great looking food. I will go back and order food the next time I'm in the area.

Just finished with a very very negative experience. From finish to end. As we arrived the hosts were very confused and arguing in front of us. We then got to our table, and the CDC regulations for Covid are not at all being followed. Patrons walking around, meandering, and talking without masks on. Servers not wearing masks, wearing bandanas instead of masks, wearing masks only on their mouth and not their nose, TAKING THEIR MASKS ALL THE WAY OFF TO TAKLK TO FELLOW EMPLYOYEES AND PATRONS TOO. Ridiculous. I ordered a flight of wines, two reds and two whites, and was met with resistance when asking

The waygu burger and the friend green beans were very good. My wife had a salad with salmon that was ok. Iceberg lettuce was a little wilted and the dressing and salmon lacked poo. The view and ambience saved them. It was a perfect day to sit out by the water and relax. The lake red wine was outstanding. The service was slow and shaky at best.

We visited Buckeye Lake Winery on 8/18/19 to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. I'd known about this place for a while, but never made it out here until now because it's an hour drive one-way from my house in Upper Arlington. I'd also incorrectly assumed that they serve wine made from Ohio grapes. I love Ohio but we're not really known for making good grapes for wine... so I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival to learn that they source most of their grapes from California.
So this isn't really a winery serving Ohio-grown wine. (although they did have 1 white

The winery is easily the best restaurant on Buckeye Lake. With 6 (if I'm counting right) waterfront options to choose from, the winery takes the cake.
In the past, I came to the winery for a valentines dinner. It was when they had just opened and it was super underwhelming. However, over the past few years, they have really stepped their game up.
The menu offers everything from cheese plates to full course meals. The entrees will run you upwards of $20+. However, the sandwiches and flatbreads are competitive priced when compared to the other restaurants around. On top of that, the winery

It was a nice venue. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Would have gave 5 stars but my waitress did not know what sprakling wine was. She told me there was no sparkling wine but had champagne for mimosas. Which was very odd in winery. The food was delicious and the cheese platter appetizer was great too.

This little winery is for sure a hidden gem in Thornville, OH. It's located on a lakefront. How cool is that?! I would have never guessed that this winery was out there. The views, food and wine are amazing. Myself and my business partner were invited here for a behind the scenes with the owner, Tracy. Tracy was AMMMAZING and so hospitable. We talked to Tracy for about 2.5 hours and received a tour of the entire winery. The cool thing is this winery even has goats located in the front and a chicken house located in the back. His daughter loves animals and wants to be a veterinarian when she
