I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Guilford! The first time I met him was for my wife to get adjusted after a car accident, this was in July of 2019 (long before covid). He helped her so much in her first treatment we came in because she woke up one day and couldn't turn her neck it was so stiff. We found him in our list of preferred doctors (he accepts many different insurances) BCBS Medicare and Kaiser are just a few that I know of because these are the ones I have. Anyway he fixed her up. And then she kept seeing him for maintenance and hasn't had any complaints since. Just

I called Dr. Guilford prior to going in and had inquiries regarding my insurance etc. I was able to make a same day appt. which was super awesome! My lower back was in so much pain from pulling it and neck pain as well from a sudden turn. He was able to help relieve the pain I had in my lower back just a tad bit by adjusting and stretching out my back. Went back the next day and was able to see him 3x in total. The 3rd visit my neck pain was almost gone including my lower back pain. He's helped so much. Thank you Dr.Guilford you do amazing work all in the course of a week.

Started seeing Dr. Guilford a couple of months ago and am very happy that have. I'm a long time chiropractic patient and wanted to find a Chiropractor closer to home. After trying a few different practitioners, I've decided that Dr. Guilford is the one for me. He's thorough with his diagnosis, he listens well, his adjustments are spot on, and most importantly, when I leave his office, I feel much better. If you're looking for a Chiropractor in the Castro Valley/Hayward area, I recommend you try Dr. Guilford.

I enjoy coming to this practice from day one, the receptionist did her best to fit me in. Dr. Guilford is skilled, knowledgeable and personable. He knew the diagnosis of my back issue before my doctor could tell me. The message therapist is nice and professional. I enjoyed being able to see them in tandem for maximum results and pain relief. I would refer this practice to anyone.

Dr Guilford is probably one of the best chiropractor I've been too. He spend extra time with you vs the other chiropractors I've been to that was in an out within 5 mins. He takes time adjusting all areas of my neck, back and shoulder and uses latest technology. I would give him a five star rating but unfortunately it's just him running the office and providing treatment so it's hard to get someone on the phone and there's usually a wait even if I have an appointment.

So GRATEFUL to find such a GEM of a doctor! Had been CAREFULLY LOOKING for such a long time, due to multiple health conditions( including fibromyalgia/ms) , fractures, and severe neck/back issues. (afraid of surgery, I decided to give Dr. Guilford try)
I think I called at 3 am in tears of distress and received an appointment immediately! (that in itself speaks volumes, for it to be my 1st time calling). If you are looking for a professional and caring atmosphere. Where your health is top priority. This is the place. The staff is so awesome and the doctor is truly amazing! I was in so much pain and feeling depressed. After my first visit with Dr. Guilford my back and body began to feel better. I swear this is the most wonderful and healing place! You are greeted with such care and concern. The doctor is attentive and on point every step! You won't be disappointed I promise.

Nancy is such a sweet, pretty and smart receptionist. You have to meet her!
Dr. Guilford is genuine, compassionate and attentive. He sits and listens to my concerns, and I have many.He laughs at all my lame jokes (thank you, Dr. guilford).

Dr. Guilford is an amazing chiropractor. If it were not for him I would be unable to walk. He really takes the time to get to know his patients and will answer any questions you have. The receptionist at the front is also very informative and is very organized. Go check it out for yourself if you don't believe me. You will find yourself coming back for more.

My wife and I went here a few years ago and have nothing but good things to say. My wife had some previous back troubles and his treatment fixed a lot of remaining issues. As for me I just recently went back after having a cycling accident and had remaining neck issues. His staff is very professional and his appt times range so its usually easy to get to see him with a work schedule in mind. Also they take my insurrance and worked with me on what they didn't cover.
