Dr. Mohandas has been a practicing physician since 2003 in the Monterey Peninsula. She started her career as an Internist helping the general community prevent, diagnose, and treat adult disease. At the same time, she found and developed her passion for Advanced Medical Aesthetics and specialized in several non-invasive procedures including SmartLipo, Brazilian Butt Lift, Natural Breast Augmentation, PDO Thread Facelifts, and a variety of other injectable treatments.

In 1991, Dr. Mohandas graduated from the University of Madras Medical College located in her hometown of Chennai, India. She completed her residency at North Shore University Hospital in New York in 1996, and specialized in Family Medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital in Dallas, Texas in 2003.
The following year, she received her certification from the American Board of Family Medicine establishing her as a board certified Family Medicine Physician.While opening and operating her own Family Practice in the Monterey Peninsula, she decided to continue her medical education in Advanced Medical Aesthetics.

First LASER GENESIS Experience
Booked appt 5days prior, they confirmed my appt twice with my name & phone number.
Appt was 10:45am, I came at 11:02 because I missed my exit. I even called, no answer and left VM.
Came in for my appt, apologized for being late and both the RN & Receptionist looked at me blankly & disregarded my apology. Moving forward, I told the receptionist that my name is *this*... she asked to spell out my first name. And when she couldnt find it. I went spell out my last name too like I never made this appt with them prior?! She's like, "No I dont have that! No can't find

I'm so happy I found this place. Everyone here if friendly and very professional. My appointments are always on time. I love the place too. Is super cute and clean. And the price on their treatments is a lot lower than other spas in San Jose or the Monterey area. Highly recommend.

I bought a laser genesis packet of 3 on Groupon. I have had 2 treatments so far. I’m a semi retired RN who worked for years for a dermatologist so I’m familiar with treatments. Becky is very pleasant friendly but professional and I’m very happy with the service. The Front desk folks are nice as well. I would recommend Dr Mohanda’s!

I have seen Doctor Mohandas several times for chemical peels, laser genesis, and botox and I love the results! My face feels fresh, my pores have shrunk, and my skin looks better than ever before! Doctor Mohandas is patient, professional, and answers all questions in a kind and compassionate manner. Her medical assistants are fantastic too! I cannot recommend her enough and I will definitely be coming back!
