Our firm was established in 1982 and is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Over the years our name changed to Evart, Young & Hobbs and assets under management have grown to $227 million, but our mission remains the same.

We are a fiduciary, which means we are legally obligated to put your interests first when it comes to selecting the appropriate investments for you. We are not selling any products or investments. The only compensation we are able to receive is from our client. We know from years of experience that your success starts with our ability to listen.
We financially support and are actively involved with Street Life Ministries (SLM), based out of Redwood City. With only three paid employees, SLM is a volunteer-heavy organization. SLM started 15 years ago with a young man that decided to take action and assist the needy along the peninsula. Last year, SLM served over 20,000 meals in San Mateo County.
