LUSTR Auto Detail originated in 2007 out of passion for fine automobiles and enthusiasm for their proper aesthetics through quality car detailing. At the time, Ivan was an avid car enthusiast and very meticulous BMW owner, extremely displeased with the available car detailing services in the Chicagoland area.
Over the years, usually even months, vehicles accumulate a generous amount of defects in the paint. Swirl marks from improper washing, holograms from improper detailing, embedded dust, tar, etc. from simple daily driving all keep vehicles from looking their best. Through proper car detailing and paint correction, these same vehicles can usually regain that like-new look and once again have clear and shiny paint.
At LUSTR Detail, we offer our clients various protective coating options with different levels of protection and value. Each of these options provides something a bit different, but they all produce one significant result: durable protection with excellent shine. We offer coating applications for full vehicles and individual parts, such as wheels, headlights and engine components.
At LUSTR Detail paint correction is our specialty and we are proud to stake our reputation on it. Paint correction is a long and labor intensive process through which paint is properly compounded, polished and restored to bring back that like-new or even better than new finish.

Ivan and roman are the guys to go to for your detailing needs. Took my new 2022 Cayman to them for paint correction, front PPF, ceramic and window tint. Car came out looking outstanding. Roman could spot minute paint defects that I had totally missed. Fair prices and they are willing to spend the time talking through the processes and to determine what exactly you want done. I had post-install "blemishes" from another Suntek authorized PPF dealer (that I shall not name) that bugged me like none other! Basically, it looked like two fingerprints on the edge of my hood. Even though they were only noticeable during some angles and lighting, I decided enough was enough especially on a 2 month old car!!
I consulted Ivan on possible options, which included possible film replacement as a worse case scenario. And Ivan being the gentleman he is, he was willing to give me a discount if we needed to go this route, class act! Needless to say, Ivan

Highly recommend Ivan and his team! I brought my 2011 Subaru sti for a paint correction detail. They went above and beyond my expectations, it turned out beautiful! I felt comfortable leaving my car, and the consistent communication throughout the process was very reassuring. Upon pickup my car looked better than new, words can’t explain it! The inside was even cleaned up which was a nice surprise. They really take pride in their work and it shows!

10/10 would recommend! Recently had LUSTR Detail instal Suntek PPF on the front end of my vehicle. Ivan was great to work with- responded promptly to all communications and got the job done quickly. LUSTR Detail comes from a detail background and took extra precaution to prepare all the edges properly etc. I know the job was done as it should be! Very happy with the end results and look forward to another project with LUSTR.

Ivan and Roman are professionals who know what they are doing, and have been doing this many years. I have studied the art of automotive paint correction as an enthusiast but I know it can be hard work and requires skill to do it correctly. There are numerous "detailers" around who unfortunately know less about proper paint correction than myself. I'd be very careful about taking my car just anywhere. So if I need this done right - ESPECIALLY paint protection film and coatings - there is no other place I trust.

Ivan and Roman truly know how to detail a car. To the real definition of perfect. I have been a client of theirs for about a year now with my Tesla and I cannot recommend LUSTR Detail enough to anyone. They know how to make a car look amazing. I purchased a new 2019 Mustang and wanted to get the finish protected with ceramic coating as soon as possible. Lustr Detail was recommended to me so I went to meet Ivan to see his work and get an understanding of the process and the protective coating. Highly recommend this LUSTR place to anyone looking to make their car/truck look new again.. Excellent service and staff.. Dropped off my truck and the next day it was like a brand new truck again from the inside out.. they even made the rims so clean and shiny i thought they were new rims...
Light polishing and I'm sure they even did more then light polishing after that ceramic coating application. Black truck came out better then when I drove it off the dealer lot when I got new truck.

I don't think this is a real business. I called 6 times over a four day period leaving 2 voicemails and received no call back. At $250 for a interior detail you would think they would be interested in business but it appears not the case. Make this your last call because if they do exist they are terribly unprofessional.
Don't buy the response. Sorry. I didn't get the voicemail is the biggest cop out ever. I'd have had some respect had you just had a reason you were didn't respond. Good luck with your small business. I'm guessing you're going to need it.

After purchasing an almost 5 year old low mileage Mercedes CLK convertible in Diamond White pearl and I was looking to find a detailer that would be able to reverse the wear and tear of time and the carelessness of the previous owner. Being a person that notices small imperfections in things, I did not want an inexperienced/careless job done on this car that would cause me to be aggravated every time I Iooked at the vehicle. I just recently brought my 2014 428i BMW that had been purchased from a previous party. The car had light swirls all over it. Lustre detail removed the swirls and brought the paint to life again. Ivan did an incredible job on my black Ferrari F430 Spider. No swirls, and a flawless finish. He also applied CQuartz Finest ceramic coating coating, so the perfect finish is easy to maintain. When I wash the car, the water just blows right off, no need to towel dry it.

Just got my Ford escape detailed today. Service could not have been any better. Roman did a phenomenal job going over what he completed and what he recommended moving forward. Hands down the best place to get your vehicle detailed (and I've had quite a few places detail my vehicles over the years). I'm a perfectionist and study the vehicles paint from all different angles and under different lighting. Ivan and Roman worked their magic on my car and the car looks beautiful. I'm happy to report that when it comes to detailing, no one will ever touch my vehicles again except Ivan and Roman - hope they never leave the area!!

I recently had my car detailed by Ivan, including a clear bra on my M3. Ivan is a total professional. He cares about your car, what is best for the car, and every detail. He actually talked me out of services, even though it would have been more money for his company. Ivan's work was superb. I would 100% recommend him - he is knowledge, he spent a ton of time talking to me on the phone and writing emails ensuring I felt comfortable about the work, the process, and the fees. Bought a new sports sedan and wanted to get it opti-coated. It was a new car, but the car company has a reputation for using soft paint that easily chips. Found Ivan through discussion forums for car enthusiasts, and couldn't be happier with the results.
