I recommend Rainier Orthopedic Institute in Puyallup. I met with my surgeon, Dr. Steadman, and discussed the pain I was having in my knee. Dr. Steadman described what would happen during the surgery, answered questions and we set a date. I checked into Good Samaritan Hospital in the morning and left that afternoom. The front desk people and nurses were friendly every time I was there. After six weeks, I am pain-free. Thank you Dr. Steadman and Rainier Orthopedic!

I am SO pleased with the results of my surgery! I had pushed my injured knee to the point that I could hardly walk, and now I'm feeling great. A couple more weeks of physical therapy to build strength, and I will be as good as new. Thank you, Dr. Steedman! And the rest of the staff was great, too- from the desk staff to the nurses, they were so welcoming and caring. I highly recommend Rainier Orthopedic Institute.

I don't recommend breaking your ankle...but if you do, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Van Bergeyk and the group at Rainier Orthopedics to fix it! I suffered a triamalleolar fracture and required surgery to repair; I was able to be seen and scheduled for surgery quickly and the care I received was impeccable. Eight weeks later, I am off crutches and on the road to recovery!

I went here in December and January for follow-up to a broken wrist. The PA who saw me took one x-ray of the opposite side of my wrist and told me everything was fine. It's been eight months with continuous pain and a simple x-ray from my doctor showed the bone never healed. This is something that easily could have been noticed had the PA done her job. I still can't perform my regular job and now it's too late for conservative treatments.

Had a referral from my primary care to have a MRI done for a car accident I've been dealing with for a year and a half. Once the PA came in, she greeted me with the warm welcome of " What are you wanting?" Showing little to no concern about what I've been dealing with she denied the referral. She said" I think the pain you are having is from your job." I told her I never had pain in my neck prior to the car accident doing my job. She then said " Ya, sometimes body's change after accidents." Ridiculous! Thank you PA Hailey for the terrible experience there. I appreciate you taking into consideration

I had been having trouble with my hips for over 5 years and was eventually diagnosed as having moderate-to-severe arthritis in both hips. Since COVID-19 was still very much in progress, I did not want to go into a hospital for surgery. When Dr. Steedman told me that same-day surgery was an option for me (it isn't for everyone), That tipped the scale for in favor of having the surgery. I am a "repeat customer" for Rainier Ortho Institute; their surgery center is top notch as are their physicians and nursing staff. Absolutely have and will continue to recommend them to friends and family.

I am so thankful for the new hip and the smooth procedure!
My experience was great and I recommend the day surgery procedure and Dr. Steedman. Being a Yoga Instructor with arthritis in my hip, I lost my range of motion and in constant pain it got to be very difficult to instruct and even do yoga. No more pain since surgery and with following PT exercises I am ready to get back to instructing!

Absolutely a great surgery experience. I had a hip
replacement in 2020 that was in hospital ( stayed 3 days). Here I went home same day and slept in my own bed. The surgery center allows you to be the focus, not the distractions of equipment and intercoms, etc. I would recommend dr Steedman to anybody needing orthopedic surgery and the way they think of small things ( you have your medication ready before your surgery - things that really make the surgery more convenient.

You shouldn’t delay your surgery due to Covid. 6 weeks ago, I had my second knee replacement with Dr. Steedman at Rainier Orthopedic Institute and walked out of the clinic the same day; no overnight hospital stay. Don’t suffer I pain any longer.

This is one of those accidents that you just could not make up if you tried. It happened at a dog park, with an aggressive dog chasing my dog in my direction.
I had a very bad tibial plateau break/crushing, requiring a long week stay in the hospital and surgery to include a new cadaver bone, a plate and many screws. After many consultations with several surgeons I was very fortunate to have Dr. Eric Puttler taking my case to reconstruct my lower leg. He set the plan and explained my options and his recommendations with supporting reasoning. I felt very confident with his course of treatment immediately
