For most customers, residential or commercial, the roof is the best location for solar panel installation. It usually already has the structural specifications that the solar panels require. All that is needed is mounting hardware and appropriate flashings. If the roof is not applicable or desired, various other mounting options are available, including shade awnings or ground-mount options (i.e., standard ground-mount, ground pole, or trackers).
The reasons for choosing to have a battery backup system for your home or business are powerful. Off-grid systems are not dependent on PG&E at all, so if we're in the midst of a blackout, your lights stay on. The power from your panels is stored in a battery system connected to your home. Off-grid solar energy systems will even generate electricity during a blackout since they are completely independent of your electric power company.

Synergy recently installed solar on our house. It wasn't a run of the mill job, because our house is surrounded by a lot of trees and shade but Rich Williams and the entire Synergy crew were really professional and did an exceptional job. Estimate was great, their knowledge of the available options was excellent. The installation took only a single day for 12 panels and a battery backup. Inspection passed first time. I even added things to my original quote that caused them a headache with their suppliers, but they went above and beyond to stay on schedule. Excellent company.

I highly recommend Synergy Power. We met with eight different solar providers over the course of two months. There are a lot of good companies out there, but the Synergy Power team bubbled to the top very quickly. Our initial consultation with Dave went very well. He was able to provide a few different options based on system size, layout, price, and panel type to meet our goals for the project. Synergy Power was very responsive to all of our questions which ranged from the efficiency of the solar panels to the details of their roof mounting technique. This included delivering a sample of the roof anchor mechanism that they used so we could convince ourselves of the water-proof integrity of this roof penetration.
They also worked well with our roofing contractor making the entire procedure pretty seamless and pain free. They are a small local company and were very easy to work with and nice folks to boot :-).

From start to finish, these folks took care of everything, including any permits, applications for rebates etc. I'm an retired contractor so I am a picky customer to say the least, all of their workers were very professional and through. Thanks a bunch and I would recommend them to everyone, no pressure no bad language that is a real test of a persons IQ in my opinion.

I've worked with a lot of contracting firms and installers over the years and I can honestly say that Synergy is the best group I've ever worked with. We used them for a backup battery installation. They provided a quick and friendly quote, no pressure, lots of information. I did my homework before deciding on Synergy Power. They weren't one of my original choices, but circumstances led me to them and it turned out to be a blessing. I worked with a couple of companies initially getting quotes and having conversations through EnergySage. Then opted to go with Tesla, which on the surface appeared to be a better option and the most reasonable. Then we ran into last minute design issues, hardware compatibility issues with my new one year old roof (added cost for a new roof basically), and the week before installation deciding they had to downsize the system

We just hit our one year anniversary of solar! And in a year of real uncertainty and financial changes, it's been a blessing to not have to worry about our utility bills jumping! With both my husband and I working from home and our teens doing schooling, gaming or streaming majority of the day, I expected to owe a lot at my True-up! Also with all the fires and smoke I know I didn't produce as much as I normally would in September. But looks like we'll only owe about $200 which is less than one month of electricity pre-solar! I just had my roof installed and in order to do that we had to have our solar panels removed and reinstalled. I was impressed with Synergy's professionalism, communication, and overall customer service.
My only regret is that I never new of them when I originally had my solar installed, otherwise I would have went with this company from day one.
This is who I will go to for all of my solar needs from here on out and I highly recommend you do too!
