We went in for appetizers and drinks tonight after driving all day. We immediately felt welcome by Michael. We had promo and friendly service, never felt like a number. We ordered chicken wings with bourbon sauce - quite plentiful and tasty. Also had the crab Rangoon pizza - also good portion and very good. Hope to get here again some day.

I went in for dinner with my young son. He had the chicken nuggets and fruit cup and I had the filet.
The filet itself was fine. Cooked to the right temperature, which is good and seasoned well enough. There was supposed to be a compound butter on top, but I don't think it made it. The Brussels sprouts that came with the dish were hammered. So mushy even the bacon in the dish squished. Truly horrible.
The kids meal was sort of the problem though. I mean, the nugget itself was the usual Sysco fare, dropped in the fryer and served up. However, the fruit cup was hilarious. There were, I am

The food at this restaurant was excellent. The chef executed a perfect medium rare ribeye steak and a rare ahi tuna. The server was very good and attentive to our needs. The big negative was the general ambiance. We felt like we were eating is a basement. The clientele was varied and the dress code was less than impressive. There were well dressed people and people straight out of the pool in bathing suits and tee shirts and everything in between.
Over all this place has potential but we probably won't return.

My wife and I had lunch at Fire and Ice in Springfield MO Monday 6/29. Not only was the menu unexpectedly contemporary, Michael, our server is top notch. We had the Korean Style BBQ nachos and the flavors were spot on. We were casually traveling and in no rush so we shared a Napoli salad and the smoked cheddar shells. Deliciously light honey balsamic dressing in a fresh bed of greens and the shells dish was very nice. Served piping hot and a made from scratch sauce.
We have a destination spot when we go to Springfield now. Thanks again and we'll definitely be back. Great to see a place doing

Best place I found to eat during my week in Springfield. Place was pretty busy but my waitress was nice and very efficient. Also had a nice amount of Tvs on the wall close to my seat but amazingly all tuned to the same b-ball game. Duke at BC kinda weird. I ordered a Dusse and shrimp Pad Thai it was pretty darn good. I'll give the fish a 7 out of 10

A bit hard to find from the main road. It's tucked in the Oasis hotel and I drove around a bit until I figured it out. I ordered the 8oz fillet with mushroom risotto and brussel sprouts. I felt like I waited a bit too long to get my food which wouldn't bother me if the food was outstanding. But it was a Wednesday and the place wasn't crowded. The risotto and the sprouts was good and the fillet was ok. I had expected a better more flavorful, melt in your mouth fillet. Good showing but I've had better.

12oz Ribeye, fingerling potato's and green beans. Steak was cooked to perfection. Potatoes were excellent and the green beans were crisp. The manager check on me, I was soloing, so the attention was there as well.
As far as the ambiance, it's a bit of a cross between a steakhouse and a sports bar. A bit loud at times and no shortage of TV's on the walls. Semi circle bar if you want to socialize or watch the chef at work.
Even though some might be put off by the noise level, I'm still going to give this place 5 stars. The food and attention to detail was just too

So this place is pretty awesome. This is my second time coming to this restaurant and the service and the food has never disappointed.
This place is not to overly priced. If you want good service and food, well I guess you got to pay a little more sometimes.
I ordered the fried calamari appetizer and a chicken cesar salad. Calamari same as last time I came here did not disappoint. The chicken cesar although the chicken was cocked to perfection and the salad was nice and crunchy, the home made dressing well let's just say it was unique taste. "not to my liking" But I still tarred

Fire & ice, HMM, I write this with mixed emotions. I ordered the the shrimp cocktail appetizer, it featured Prawns, price, $11.00. I was amazed that for one there was ONLY 4 and they were not prawns as I know them nor as defined. These at best were a medium sized shrimp. As I do a lot of cooking with seafood, especially shrimp they in my opinion do not qualify as prawns. At best they were no larger than a medium sized shrimp I have bought at Wal-Mart.
I also had the KC burger with hand cut fries. The burger was surprising delicious. I say surprisingly because I had the shrimp cocktail first

I am here at a conference for a week at a local college and they put me up here at the Ramada. Decided to check out the food here and it is good!
This is my third visit so I am putting my money where my mouth is.
I had the pad Thai and the portion of shrimp was good. The sauce was slightly spicy and not flaccid like most Thai places. A win here. I also had a beef stir fry with the teriyaki sauce on the side. Delicious. Beef cubes were succulent and flavorful. Could have used more rice, however. Lots of crispy veggies like snap peas, bell peppers, and a medly of veggies.
The soup was miso
