For over 25 years, Pasta Express Italian Kitchen has been a family favorite in Springfield, Mo. The restaurant offers a casual atmosphere that is perfect for dining with friends, co-workers, and family members. Our menu features a wide variety of entrees to satisfy everyone's taste buds. At Pasta Express your meal is always made from the highest quality ingredients and made to order when you order.
Mascarpone cheese layered over lady fingers dipped in espresso and topped with cocoa powder. Choose from Fettuccini, Mostaccioli, Toasted Ravioli, Chicken Tenders, or Macaroni & Cheese. Served with roll and choice of apple juice, milk, chocolate milk, Tum-E Yummies or 12 oz soda. Other pastas available for additional 1.50.

The price for what you get is a bit much. And any pasta with any sauce and any meat tastes the same. Like a far too sweet tomato sauce and steamed cardboard. If you're in a hurry and need a meal that lays in your stomach like a wet brick and tastes similar to a rained on pizza box this is your place.

Not good. I took the time to write a not good review and now I'd like to take the time to update that review. I believe it's important to people to know what's good and what's not I also believe it's important for people to know who cares and who don't and the owner/manager person in charge here really does care about your experience and their restaurant.

Used to be my favorite pasta place. Then I threw up my entire dinner from here. I don't know whether it's this location or what. But the one over by the movie theater has always been great. Maybe you need better staff at this location or something?? But I've never gotten sick from here until I ate this location. Only reason it's even getting 2 stars is because this is my literal favorite pasta chain.

Fast food and pasta put together is quite a weird experience. The food is good for fast food but bad for a pasta place. Also its a bit expensive and not really worth what you get out of it. I had the fettuccine alfredo and it was ok but it doesn't quite sit well in my stomach. All in all it was more of a neutral experiance. I would have to say if you are looking for good pasta go elsewhere.

Great local spot for a quick sit down meal. Generally good service with consistent Italian\American menu items. The Pasta Express toasted sandwich is a favorite, and we really enjoy the warm rolls! Be careful if you use the drive-thru for a call-in order, you may get stuck behind someone else placing an order and wait quite a while.
