In modern times, this term means you can take advantage of lower prices by paying with cash and loading all of the goods yourself to take to your home or business.
Order our weekly specials online and we'll have them waiting for you to pick-up at our store location. Specials are available instore only Monday through Friday. Please allow 3 hours prior to pick-up. If you are placing your order after 4:00 PM, your order will be available after 10:00 AM the following day.

I absolutely love your store most of the time - pretty neat there is a cash and carry restaurant supply store that is open to the public.
But today, Saturday, October 2, 2021 there was a great bacon sale, $25 for 15 pounds! Dang, that was awesome, especially as bacon climbs steadily to $6-8/lb depending on the brand and store! But when you're dividing the case to utilize more effectively in the future and you notice the PACKAGED date was nearly two years ago 12/27/2019, that is ridiculous, how long has it been in the freezer? It is flavorless trash and older than the pandemic! I am appalled by

We live about 25 minutes away and were passing the store on the way home. They could have better signage because the store is set way back off the hwy. Then, when you turn into the parking lot it is again hard to initially find where to go. I used to drive the route home every day and never noticed the store before that day and I guess they've been there for years. However, once you do find how to get to and into the store, you will not be disappointed. This store is awesome for cheap groceries and meat. They also have a butcher on site. While there's a few things to stay away from here, there's also a LOT of gems in this place.
Their frozen apps are really good and they have a huge selection. I got the frozen mac and cheese bites which were great in the air fryer at home. They had a lot more too when I walked through the aisles I just didn't have a ton of freezer space or cash on me. They are cash only, or they were when I went in right before the pandemic.
One of my friends swears by some of their seafood, their lobster tails in particular. It looked like they had other good meat, too.

This is a very unique and interesting place. If you have a large family, this place may be really helpful to you. Some great bargains to be found, but you need to check the expiration dates carefully if they are important to you. I would give them 4 stars if they took credit or debit cards. Cash/check only. The place is worth checking out to see if it works for you.

Interesting place. Always seems packed each time we go but I don't know why we go. Have yet to find anything of great value or savings.
Some restaurant foods but it's all cheap food you would get at a dirty dive bar.
Meat looks good. Have yet to purchase meat.

Went there today to check out the store, prices were reasonable on some stuff, i wanted to buy something waited in line for a few min, when it was my turn she rang up my stuff and when i took out my debit card she said they do not accept debit

I'm not sure how this place is allowed to operate. EVERYTHING I picked up was expired. I'm talking months past the expiration date. The "deli" has all meats and cheeses in bowls. I'm not sure how that is per code, because how would they know when it's expired? Nobody in the deli was wearing hairnets or hats, women were working with long hair! I'm not sure if they had gloves, I was grossed out so I left. Meats and seafood looks like they been frozen and re frozen over and over. I would never feed my family food from there.

Best prices around, has an excellent variety of products, good for your meat purchases but check the expiration date (although they have fresh cut meats as well). Has other goods that is near or past best buy date, but if you don't mind that, the prices are easily the lowest around. I visit weekly for my household and come away with a couple bags worth of products for less than $20.

Best meats around! A whole lot better than Jewel or Meijers. Carl E. is incorrect, they DO NOT sell expired meats. That is bogus. The meats are fresh. The meat prices are very reasonable. The frozen cookie dough is makes great cookies without the bother of mixing ingredients, especially the oatmeal raisin cookies. Their Indiana Bacon is great!

This place is a hidden gem of a grocery store/restaurant supply store. They only take cash, but there's an ATM at the entrance. Watch the expiration dates--gotten stung a few times with that, but the prices are so low that those few occasions weren't too maddening. Some of our favorites: chicken wing dings, lunchmeat, ribs, produce seems locally grown but it sells out fast, hash browns, lunchmeat, cooking utensils and trays, butter, and cheese curds. Watch the prices--the fried green bean appetizers are expensive.

This is the place to go for large bulk quantities of year old expired meats. On one occasion I purchased a box of pork chops and upon arriving home I just happened to check the expiration date and noticed the chops were expired by over a year..!! I have checked other items and also found many have passed their expiration date. The scary thing is that many of the restaurants in the area purchase meats and other food items from B B.

Wow, we have our new "place" to shop at. We have heard about this place over the past year or so, but being from Illinois it wasn't something we would drive out to. Then I moved to Lake Geneva... and one day I realized we pass this place almost every sunday while visiting a friend in that area. . We decided to check it out today when we decided we wanted to grill outside, and needed some food. It was like shopping at a price club place (costco, sams) but on a smaller, more friendly level. All the staff was super friendly. It was nice to see items in both bulk and regular sizes.Great

If not for the great prices, I love going here for the friendly faces. They have tons of fresh produce, plenty of bulk foods without needing a membership, and it's great for big families or if you are having a party. It's a no frills place, which I actually like, and as a food blogger, I really like that I can pick up restaurant supply stuff too. Best Bargains does have the best prices around that are unbeatable within a large radius. I shop there often. Staff is real nice. My only complaint is the questionable expired stuff that remains on the shelf's such as the soda, and/or questionably older meats and products sometimes without notice or informing the customers. I would just be sure to check expiration dates because there are no signs saying that stuff is marked down because it is expired or nearly expired. I would be happier if they kept customers informed on this matter with a simple sign. To give a constructive review I would say

My smoker runs almost daily and I take my meat seriously. Best Bargain is my favorite place to buy meat as they have great quality, selection and pricing. They oftentimes have the same cuts in differing grades so that I can choose the price and quality that I want. If I'm cooking for just the wife and I, I'll often choose a lower priced cut like "select" but when cooking for company I can step up to "choice" or even all the way up to "prime."
The staff is also extremely helpful. If I need something specific that they don't have on hand, they'll order it for me. I can also call ahead when placing

Not only do they now accept debit cards, but they take Foodshare too. They have an excellent Deli Department with inexpensive meat cuts like Hard Salami, Smoked Turkey, Ham, & Roast Beef all for only $1.00 a pound...what a deal!!! They carry it all from paper towels to T-Bone steaks, from Toilet Paper To Tenderloins Beef or Pork. Great prices, Great customer service, Great hours and Fabulous location. They are definitely worth checking out.

Great place to buy in bulk or restaurant supplies. I purchased restaurant quality cookie sheets/jelly roll pans for only $5-$6. Also you can purchase spices, canned fruit & veggies, pasta, cheese, flour, sugar, eggs...all in bulk. Perfect to buy and split with a few other people. There is a small deli and frozen foods too. Also paper goods and basic white plates, cups, glasses, utensils... Heard the frozen pies are good and very inexpensive.
Store is nothing fancy but the employees always seemed nice. I believe they can special order items for you. Don't go on a rainy day, parking
