Services
Speak tenderly to them. Let there be kindness in your face, in your eyes, in your smile, in the warmth of our greeting. Always have a cheerful smile. Don't only give your care, but give your heart as well. Choosing your obstetrician once you're pregnant is a very personal decision. The relationship with your doctor and the trust that is built will help you make decisions during your pregnancy.
You may start to feel changes to signal that labor has begun. Sometimes it is a back ache that is different, but you may not notice many of the signs until labor has progressed. As labor begins, the cervix dilates or opens. The uterus will contract at regular intervals which can make the abdomen hard.
In addition to our general obstetrical services, Women's Health Center also provides care for high risk pregnancies, including women with pre-existing medical conditions, multiple births or abnormal pregnancies that can carry an increased risk of complications. This can include such issues as diabetes, preeclampsia and high blood pressure, hepatitis, and genetic disorders.
Keeping yourself healthy will give you the best chance of having a healthy pregnancy. Eat foods from the five food groups to be sure that you maintain the proper nutrition during pregnancy. Fruits - Fruits can be fresh, canned, frozen, or dried, but eat fresh fruit whenever possible. Juice that is 100% fruit juice also counts (just watch any added sugar).
An obstetrical ultrasound will be performed by a licensed ultrasound tech in order to evaluate the developing fetus and health of the mother. An obstetrical ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive procedure which uses sound waves to create an image of the fetus, placenta and amniotic fluid. Both doctor and parents can view these images on a computer monitor.

Please update your website considering you no longer accept tricare (insane considering your so close to a military base but whatever) the first one under insurance on the website is tricare but when you call you say you no longer accept it.

I know with Covid restrictions a lot of things have changed. The front office staff were very informative on policies within the office. The medical assistant that called me back was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. I met with Dr. Mager and her sweet nurse today. I highly recommend this office for all your obgyn needs. Also the front lobby is very modern and welcoming. I will be recommending my family and friends.

My sister in law is a patient in the Baxley office for about 3 months now give or take. I’ve heard great things from her about the Women’s health center, especially regarding Mrs. Fenn! She & the Baxley staff always make her feel welcome and comfortable because she’s a shy person. If you live close to Baxley, I highly recommend this office if you’re looking for a friendly & professional atmosphere. The clerk and the nurse are even pleasant and very friendly to speak to as well.
I’ve been to the Jesup office with her also and Mrs Lindsey is an angel also

I have been using this office for nearly 9 years. I have overheard the staff discussing things before from an exam room and just brushed it off... Today it wasnt that easy. Yes, we are expecting (again) this will be my 4th child with our youngest only being 10 months old. This child being unplanned (and they knew that) has given me many mixed emotions but to hear members of staff scoffing about my current pregnancy and the amount of children I already have hurt me. I left that office in tears. Women go there to be able to care for themselves and their unborn child. Not to be criticized within earshot

Alright ladies, if you need to see a gynecologist this is the place to go. I had a visit today with the P. A., Lindsey Bookhardt & it couldn't have gone any better. If you appreciate quality care, someone who listens & answers all your questions & puts you at ease during a not so fun exam, this is the place to go.

Stacey made sure I was always updated and is very kind. Nurse Ashley answered all my questions concerning my IUD and has always been sweet to me. The entire staff always make me feel welcome. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

I gave them two stars because the staff was sweet and helpful, but unfortunately Dr. Mager misdiagnosed me. I was told I have a “tilted” uterus. They couldn’t find the source of the pain I’ve been experiencing so they put me on birth control. As it turns out, I have a severe prolapse, which explains every issue I’ve been having. I’m now having a hysterectomy, which I’m thankful for. I normally don’t leave reviews but this was a pretty significant miss. I left their office in tears because I thought I was imagining these pains. I sought a second opinion and I’m so thankful I did

I WAS a new patient as of 2020. I have spent several co-pays and visits to this office for this calendar year and I HAD a follow up appointment scheduled for 8/6/20. I received a call yesterday, 2 days prior to my visit to be informed that my insurance is no longer being accepted and if I want to keep my appointment my choice is their self pay rate. NO THANK YOU. I pay dearly for insurance monthly and will be using it. Now my health issues are unresolved, I have wasted money and time at this practice and I now have to seek an new OB doctor and start all over. Thanks for taking my money, not resolving
