Services
Simply Cremation & Funeral Care is your answer to affordable cremation services and funeral care arrangements, including burial services, memorial services and celebrations of life. We focus on personalizing our services to meet your needs in a dignified and efficient manner. As the preferred local provider for excellent funeral and cremation services, we also provide the compassion, sincerity and understanding your family needs.
Pre-planning provides clear, accurate guidance for family members on funeral arrangements. Making decisions beforehand provides time to consider complex, emotional decisions about the reality of death. Pre-planning prevents mistakes or oversights, and provides family members comfort knowing they are following final wishes.
The information provided by Simply Cremation & Funeral Care below explains what to do when someone dies at home, in an institution, under hospice or unexpectedly. When a death occurs at a hospital or nursing home, the medical staff should complete all necessary legal steps. Family needs to notify the medical staff that Simply Cremation & Funeral Care will handle arrangements so they can have you sign any necessary release paperwork.
We offer three cremation services in Michigan. Each with a different cremation cost associated that can also be modified to meet your needs. Everything you'll need for a cremation along with an opportunity for you and your family to say goodbye. Please contact us about your specific situation. This option gives you all the necessary tools and extras needed for a memorial service at our funeral home or a location of your choosing.
Unlike a traditional funeral, a memorial service is a gathering where a casket is not present, although the urn containing cremated remains may be on display. Time is also not as restrictive as a traditional funeral. You can hold your service weeks or even months after cremation has occurred. You can hold these services in churches, funeral homes, community halls or other public gathering places.

My dad passed unexpectedly and everyone at Simply Cremations were extremely helpful and informative with the information I needed and what I was just curious about. They were very patient and understanding and overall great to work with especially for someone dealing with such situations for the first time.

My mother recently passed after receiving services from Hospice. Every step of the way, they were simply the most compassionate and most caring individuals. From calling right away after Hospice notified them to follow up calls thru the next several days. I spoke with Abby and she was just amazing. She responded extremely quickly to any questions I had and was wonderful in letting me chat her ear off about my mom that first, extremely difficult, phone call.
Beyond the compassion and care they provided, they are exactly what their website says, simply cremations. The charges are exactly as they

This business does not do body removals on weekends, & cost must be paid first. My brother died today Saturday 10/9/2021 at 1:20 pm. We left the room at 2:30 pm. The hospital staff was unable to reach anybody at SC initially. Upon finally speaking with them, the nurse was told the above information, & called us. Our family had to call the family owned funeral home locally to have his body removed from the hospital. This had been our plan originally, but out of respect for his wife's wishes we chose SC. Bottom line: you get what you pay for..... Breaks my heart that he sat in a hospital

When my husband learned of his terminal illness, he pre-paid for cremation service with Simply Cremations because they were who we used for his mother. When the time came I only had a phone number and a receipt. I had no clue as to what to do. When I called, the person on the other end was so helpful, and the people who came to pick up my husband were very professional and sincere. I was able to receive his ashes in a timely manner. As a Catholic we don't believe in spreading one's ashes. I was most impressed with their thoughtfulness as to copy his thumbprint so we could have a memorial token

My brother passed away at our home. We knew that his wishes were for cremation. We had no idea where to go. Simply Cremations was just one of the companies that the hospice team recommended. So we just randomly chose one. Simply cremations ended up being the best choice that we could ever have made. The team that they sent out to pick up my brother arrived in a nice looking clean vehicle that wasn’t a hearse, which seemed good. The team was a man and a woman, Tim and ( I feel bad that I can’t recall her name ) as they introduced themselves. They were beyond amazing. Very kind and respectful

My mother passed away on the 29th of January due a long illness. After her passing we called Simply Cremations to help with my mother's next part of her journey. I was very surprised when they arrived, but in a good way. Their arrival was not clinical. I expected something like an ambulance or a type of vehicle that brought attention to the house that there was a death at our home. She was transported with dignity and love. The employees were very supportive and respectful! She was placed ever so gently on a gurney and was covered with a quilt, not a bag or sheet placed over her but a quilt and

I had been given a list of Crematoriums to call when my husband was at the end of his life. I picked this one because I hoped it would be simple as we were not going through a funeral home. I called and the gentleman who answered my call explained everything so clearly. I told Hospice who we were going to use and the night my husband passed a Hospice aide came and we got him dressed. I think they called Simply Creations and they said they could come at 12:30. They came in to see where he was in the bed. I know they asked if we had questions as my son was here with me. They came into the home with
