Prior to 1700 our Ball ancestors were skilled metal workers in England, holding appointment as armour makers to the crown. We also do custom Repairs and Refinishing to your existing hardware, lighting fixtures or almost any metal item. Ball and Ball, LLC antique reproduction builder's hardware, is accurate in every detail to original hardware, making it unique among most builders' hardware available today.

For 87 years and three generations, Ball and Ball has been producing the finest quality Hardware and Lighting for homes across the country. The Ball family heritage of metal working dates back to before the 1700's England. Today we take the same pride in the craftsmanship of our products. The high standards set by our forefathers has been the ideal toward which we strive, not only in our shop, but also in our relationships with our customers.
We offer the services of our craftsmen to perform repairs on your original hardware, or to produce exact copies of an existing item. We can design and fabricate almost anything in metal, and have been doing this for over 70 years. Chances are, we have already made the item you may need at least once.
Stated simply - we expect our products to work - stock items as well as repairs. If they do not, return them, and "we will make it right." No charge will be made for anything that has not been forced beyond reasonable limits. We do reserve the right to charge for repair or replacement costs for items damaged through no fault of Ball and Ball, LLC.

Bob KNOWS! He is the go to for anything mechanical that needs fixing! From anything brass or old antique iron beds to striker plates, and keys for old carpenter locks! I would NEVER go anyplace else! IS THERE ANYPLACE ELSE? Nope! Even lamp part refinishing-to silver sugar bowls and old brass for your clocks. I love this place! We love the three hour drive because it's a fun outing seeing our "go to" man, Bob, for fixing whatever!

Needed to get a copy of a hard-to-find piece of antique lock hardware for a prestige client in Manhattan. Tried everyone in the NYC area. Ball & Ball actually had an identical piece of one of the items in their stock of classic hardware. They were able to make an accurate, good-looking reproduction of the other within my deadline. They are currently working on my second order. Knowledgeable and friendly folks. Cost-effective. Highly recommend them.

Called Customer Service and spoke to a hungover and/or disinterested individual to place my order. Credit card info had to be communicated verbally because they do not have a checkout on the site. No confirmation emails until 3 additional calls had been placed to Customer Service. Now my card has been compromised
