Ingrown toenails, also known as onychocryptosis, is usually caused by trimming toenails too short, particularly on the sides of the big toes. They may also be caused by shoe pressure (from shoes that are too tight or short), injury, fungus infection, heredity, or poor foot structure. Ingrown toenails occur when the corners or sides of the toenail dig into the skin, often causing infection.

I sustained a laceration to my left Achilles tendon 14 years ago. Since that day, I have been battling to try and live as pain free as possible. I’ve tried countless hours of physical therapy and other treatments to no avail.
Then, I went to see Dr. Golden and she suggested trying Platelet Rich Plasma therapy.
I had the treatment almost two months ago but wanted to give it time before i reviewed it. The treatment worked better than I could’ve imagined! I suffered from foot and calf cramps every night as well as nagging pain all day. With the treatment and some healing time, those symptoms

What I love most about Dr Golden? The fact that she sits down, and really gives you time to talk about your issues, and then figures out the course of action after careful listening. Many doctors are too quick to shove pills at you for quick fixes. They don’t take time to get to know you as a separate person, from the last patient they just saw, and then lump you all into a category to fix up with pills. Having had an internist as a father, I am so spoiled being brought up by a different generation of doctors. When my dad practiced , it was common to take time and get to know your patients, and

Excellent staff.
Dr. Golden is a great physician who clearly puts her patients needs and concerns first. She takes the time to listen, explains what the problem is, and describes in easily understandable terms what treatment options are available.
I would highly recommend Dr. Golden to anyone with foot or ankle concerns.
