I was a first time client and she barely even checked my eyes she assumed I was there just for a contact prescription. I even tried to opt in the extra procedure that I would have to pay out of pocket for. She didn’t look on the sheet and rushed me out so quickly, by the time she noticed I was already checked out.

Our family went to HB Eye Care for Dr. Xu. She is incredibly professional and patient in explaining all of the steps to how Ortho K contacts worked to us. She's absolutely wonderful and very meticulous at each appointment ---always does her best in correcting our vision. 10/10 would recommend her care!

Dr. Xu recommended Ortho-K Lenses after seeing my discontent with constantly wearing glasses. Contacts never sat right in my eye and were always irritating. I play a lot of sports so having these clunky glasses on my face was hindering my performance. Dr. Xu completely understood my issues and worked with me towards achieving my goal! My eyesight is significantly better now and the daily contacts she recommended sit more comfortable in my eye. I'm really glad Dr. Xu was able to help me so much!!!

These Ortho-K lenses have changed my life. Being both a runner and a swimmer, having glasses was a huge pain in the neck. I hated that my glasses wobbled around when running, slipped when I was sweaty, and that I couldn’t wear them while swimming, meaning I could see my swim sets and didn’t know what to swim during practice. Then I heard about Ortho-K lenses. With these new lenses, I can now focus more on the sport I was playing rather than on thinking about when my glasses would slip down again. I have been a customer of HB eye care for six years now, I am nearsighted with a 4.0 diopter, I used to have heavy glasses on all the time, and it was hard playing lacrosse, but after I met Doctor Xu, she suggested me to switch to Ortho-K contact lens. Now, I can see very clearly during the daytime without having my heavy glasses on. The new office is much larger than the old one, and the environment is great. Keep up the good work!

There are much closer eye doctors located near me but I continue to travel to Dr.Xu. Her dedication to her practice is apparent the moment you step into her office. The receptionist is friendly and welcoming and the reception area comfortable and well-appointed.
In addition to providing expert eye care, Dr. Xu went above and beyond helping me select new glasses frames. She patiently waited while I tried on numerous pairs and even suggested a pair I never would have tried on my own. They were pink! And they were perfect. I've had them for two years now and still receive compliments.

I've had great experiences both times I visited this clinic. Dr. Xu is friendly, quick, and thorough and provided excellent recommendations for my contact lenses. Making an appointment was easy and hassle-free and both she and her receptionist made everything go very smoothly. Very glad to have found this eye care practice in the Worcester area!

I went here in desperation, but I wouldn't recommend Dr. Xu.
My contact lens prescription had expired, and I needed to quickly purchase a new supply of them with the same prescription. I needed a doctor --*anyone*-- to write an updated rx as soon as possible before I ran out. (FYI: 1800contacts does indeed call your doctor to verify your current rx if you don't have a copy of it.)
A cursory Google search pulled up Dr. Xu's name. My insurance was covered by her (for a basic eye exam only--standard), and I could get an appointment the same day. (In retrospect, methinks this
