Yes, it is a good idea to do so at the time of purchase; all conversion kits are specific to the manufacturer and you never know when they will discontinue an item. If that happens, you will not be able to convert your crib because the kits are not interchangeable.

I waited to leave this review until my furniture was delivered. I had read all the previous reviews and honestly was worried that my ordered furniture would come in wrong so I wanted to see how it all ended up before posting.

I ordered Romania furniture in august when I was 12 weeks pregnant. I had checked out cardis, Jordan, and other places like target and found their cribs to be very flimsy and judging by the floor models they scratched easily and noticeably. This is what sent me to rooms to grow, I wanted good solid wood furniture. I wish there had been more in the show room but I understand

I called up to ask if they had the Dutailier rocker/recliner in their show room that was shown on their website. They said that they had 3-4 different rocker-glider/recliners in store. Since there was only one online and it wasn't named, I figured that they must have it so I took the long route to get home from visiting family in CT to get back home.

Problem #1: The address on their website was incorrect, showing an old location. Fortunately their old location currently advertises the new storefront address. Ok, I've come so far. Might as well back-track a bit. It's still a lot

We bought our nursery furniture at Rooms To Grow, and we had such an incredibly positive experience. The furniture at Rooms To Grow is significantly better quality than the nursery sets at the large furniture stores we had looked at. We were able to buy a nursery set--including a crib, dresser, nightstand, glider, and foot stool--all for an incredible price. Due to the supply chain demand brought on by the pandemic, we had a longer-than-average wait time for our delivery (which I think is true for almost all furniture stores). After a 'rough' delivery experience our first go around, we ended up coming back and things went so much better with our second child. Everything was delivered way ahead of time and arrived with no issues. Couldn't be happier.

Still love the customer service and supporting local business is way more important than ever.

I bought my convertible set almost 4 years ago. I had amazing service then. I was converting to a full size bed and the sides would not fit in. I was the first one converting this new set and the manufacturer set the brackets in the wrong spot. Dave came out and took care of it and finished the assembly for no charge and would not accept a tip! Now that is amazing service! Couldn’t be happier!

My husband and I went to rooms to grow in Warwick RI, after several stops at many different local furniture stores. Rooms to grow was great, the quality beats any other store, staff were very helpful. They had many choices to choose from including bedding. We were told that it roughly ships in about 3 months but we received our furniture in about a month! We are so happy that we chose rooms to grow, best investment!

When we were two months away from the birth of our first child, we decided to (finally) buy the baby furniture. I immediately thought of Babies"R"Us and Cardi's, as BRU has a good-sized furniture section and Cardi's has a deal where you buy the crib and then when you need to buy your little one a regular bed they will credit you the entire price of the crib. Purchased a crib only to realize it had a greenish tint to it. It was supposed to be grey. Asked about an exchange but was quoted as having to pay 300 dollars just to exchange a 600 dollars crib. Very dissatisfied and cant match anything to the crib.

Perhaps the worst customer service I have ever experienced after the purchase was complete. We were treated poorly and there was very little help or information while we waiting for our items. They have lost a customer.

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A RETAILER IN MY 29 YEARS!

Think that sounds dramatic? Well, unfortunately, it's true. Without getting into painful detail, let's just say I ordered $3k worth of baby furniture on Dec 10th and I'm still waiting on 2 of the 4 pieces. No one called to tell me they were on back order until I called in the 13th week when I hadn't heard anything. They blamed it on the manufacturer and proceeded to give me the run around. I receive two of my four pieces in my first delivery which was approx 15 weeks after I placed the order. I only found out the other two were

TERRIBLE customer service!
I bought my daughters very pricy crib, dresser etc. there a few years ago and just called to get info. about the drop side crib recalls and the man was very rude. He told me the company went out of business and there was no way a recall would be made by them and they would not help me out in any way. I reminded him that the we bought this companys crib b/c they were reputable and were assured they had been around so long they'd never go out of business. I would avoid this place simply for their lack of respect towards the customers. plus their items are all less
