Our founder Carroll L. Welch, started an apprenticeship in roofing and sheet metal in the summers of the 1940's in the New England area. After being transferred to Ft. McPherson during the Korean War conflict he met his beautiful bride, Ezma, who was from Georgia. After the war, he continued roofing while working as a City of Atlanta Fireman.
In 1964 he resigned from the City of Atlanta and started Ben Hill Roofing and Siding Co., Inc. in the Ben Hill business district which is located in southwest Atlanta. He continued to be the driving force in the reputation of Ben Hill until his death in 1984. Upon his death, son, David L. Welch became President and continued to grow the company using his father's guiding principles and integrity.

I had new siding put on my house about 2 years ago. I thought they had done a good job but the siding job was written up as deficient on an inspection report while trying to sell the house. I reached out to them on several occasions with no response to correct the deficiencies. I had also contacted them about 4 months prior to do some roofing repairs and was told the job was too small for them to consider. So much for repeat customers. I will NEVER use them again and will let as many people I know how bad this company as to work quality and customer service.

Update: I reached out to the VP Robbie and he was quick to schedule a meeting and rectify the areas I had concerns about. He was very professional and understanding and I am satisfied with how our experience turned out.
I dont recommend them. I signed up for $50k of work. When I signed up they said it would be 10-14 weeks til install. Then after four months said itd be another month or two to finish their job, and cost me more since they didnt plan accordingly and an additional install date would be needed. Im STILL picking up nails in my yard from the roof replacements and its been months. It

I would like to say thanks to Shawn Anderson & Brooke in the handling of the warranty on my Trex Decking. Also I would like to say to Ismale and his coworker for the outstanding work that they did in replacing the Trex boards on our deck. He’s a so detailed and professional. I love how he kept a clean work area while working and after he left for the day.They made the entire process very easy and smooth. They replaced everything that needed to be replaced with no problem. This company is the best company that I have ever work with in my life. I love my deck

We trusted Ben Hill Renovations to complete a patio extension with a roof cover, and we are more than pleased and thrilled with the completed project. Each person we interacted with throughout the project was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Brooke and Robby made it easy to make design and financial decisions, and explained each step of the project thoroughly. Daniel was the project manager, and he and his crew made sure every part of the project was completed perfectly. Daniel even took extra time to install electrical wiring and a ceiling fan, which was not even part of the original project

Ben Hill Renovations sales and service teams are excellent!!! The installation of our new windows, gutters and fascia board repairs at our home was a game changer. They were very professional and timely even with all the challenges in the Covid-19 season. I scheduled an appointment and meet with the owner. Told him about my needs and he stated he would return with a quote the following week. The appointment time came and went with no call to reschedule. Don't like to waste my time when I am trying to get things done. Responsiveness goes a long way in projecting professionalism when conducting business. Maybe others have had a different experience, this was mine.

I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am with Ben Hill. The only good thing I have to say is that they were all very nice. However, the quality of the work is pretty bad. I told them I did not want a job that 'was good enough' - I wanted a good job! When I mentioned all the stress this job caused me, all the trouble it caused me, the extended length of time, and unprofessional quality they gave me $500 off - I think it should have been more.
The Hardie Plank seams were bad from the beginning - I told the Project Manager about it and he assured me it would be taken care of
