This place is amazing. I've been tracking the best Reubens and the Detroit area and this place is at the top! The Reuben melted in your mouth and was such a great deal for the quality of the sandwich. The jumbolaia was great too. The owner and chef is awesome. He saw that my kids were still hungry and made them another sandwich just because he's that nice! I can tell you that I will be coming here every time I am in Birch run.

Visited around noon on 11/13/21. We opted to come here because the line at Tony's was WAY too long. Easily the smartest decision we have made in some time. Gumbo is slap-your-momma good. Reuben was delicious. Forget the rest, have the best at Birch Run Deli.

We got the Sicilian. Soooo tasty. The owner was very kind. He talked up his jambalaya so we had to try it. And we are so glad we did! It’s authentic and delicious.

Wow!! This is the second time we wanted to stop by and we had luck this time! They are open!! First time it was right after the shut down and while lots of other businesses were still closed. Anyways, yes I'd recommend this place 10/10! Sandwiches were all amazing, made fresh and they did not skimp on the fillings! We tried the shrimp po boy, the beef and Swiss, and the Ruben. All great sandwiches!! Will come every time we are in this area.

Best kept secret in Birch run. Great Buffet includes salad bar and drink at a good price. Home cooked food. The chef came out and greeted us and explained the selections.

Impressed by all the great reviews, I stopped in for lunch on day and I was not disappointed! The king of Queens sandwich is delicious! The house made sauce brings this sausage sandwich to a whole new level.

Bring cash. Their machine is down. With that said, this place is VERY clean. The food is hot. I came for the buffet. It's lunch time tue wed and thur. Seeing the owner restocking and tending to the buffet just reinforces my positive opinion of the place.

You need to go. Well worth the stop while driving down 75, we just came for a nice sandwich and ended up meeting the most gracious host in Chef Seymour. Incredible menu, it's hard to choose, but we tried a few things and you know it's good. Seymour cares a lot about the food and the people and it shows. Will definitely go back

I got the Reuben, my wife had a ham and cheese and my daughter got a grilled cheese (kids eat for free!). All of the sandwiches were delicious! I really enjoyed the corned beef on the Reuben. Definitely would recommend checking this place out.

Amazing food. Met the owner, Seymour. He was as nice as could be, as was his coworker. I ordered the steak sub, while my wife ordered the grilled ham and cheese. Topped them off with cheese burger chili and peanut butter cookies. So good. He also gave me some honey mustard/horseradish stuff on the side for the steak sub--wow. Definitely going to be our new spot when we're out shopping at the outlets or hitting up Frankenmuth!

I've passed the Birch Run Deli a thousand times, but had never stopped in. That changed today! What a fantastic little gem of a deli! The food is awesome, and the owner is a super nice gentleman as well.

This might have been the first time I visited the Birch Run Deli, but I can guarantee it won't be the last!

What a great little find. We didn't want to wait in line at the other deli and were starving so we popped in to Birch Run Deli. Very small with a style all it's own. The staff were super friendly, in way you don't find every day and everything was great.

OH and their restroom has a bidet :) Very cool

Very friendly owner! He took the time, several times, to go over the menu & specials for our larger group. Made coffee, offered to turn the AC/heat on if we wanted it. Whatever we needed.

All of our sandwiches were great. We had reubens, steak, chicken, etc. Great variety, and yet all were great.

This place is awesome for sandwiches!! NY style sandwiches so big I have a hard time finishing them. The Triple Bronx's Ruben is to die for except I get it on sourdough and with slaw!!! Seymour also makes homemade soups that our out of this world. If your around check him out. I go here few times a month.

I was in town for the day and get tired of eating fast food. I came across this place and the outside doesn't wow me, but once I walked in, I was greeted with smiling faces and such warmth from the workers. The food is AMAZING and try their chili, you won't be disappointed. Everyone needs to try this place.

Great and much needed spot in the Birch Run area. Stumbled upon this place needing some lunch that was not fast food. The place is in a strip mall and a little tough to see from the main road.

The inside is a little bare but clean and comfortable. One of the nicest and warmest welcomes when we walked in. Staff was so nice and helpful.

Been open since August 2018 and half off for first responders and veterans.
