We are a husband and wife team, based out of Hoboken, NJ servicing the NYC Metro area. Photography is our passion! It is the zeal of the art that drives our clicks as photographers. We cannot thank Carolyn and Jon enough for making our engagement go so smoothly and perfectly!! (although COVID and the weather definitely got in the way) they were so flexible and responsive with my fiancé when plans suddenly changed and they make you and your tome/plans feel so valued. they are so fun and so professional, we cannot say enough about how great our experience with them was!! 100% would recommend J. Stud Studio to anyone and everyone! thank you so so much Carolyn and Jon!!

Jon and Carolyn helped capture such a beautiful day with my family this past weekend. They did an incredible job capturing us naturally yet perfectly posed and framed at the same time. Against advice we went with a midday time (bad for the sun and shadows), on a terribly windy day (bad for my hair and a grumpy baby) down by the water (extra cold, eek) and Jon still was able to capture amazing moments in time. I have never loved everything any photographer has ever given me and my bar is set so low now where I told everyone "if I get 1 it was money well spent." We received over 100 amazing photos

We had an incredible experience with Jon’s services. Jon was quick to respond to our request and was able to book us within a week of reaching out to him. Him and his wife Carolyne are very professional but also make you feel very comfortable in front of the camera. That, and they are great with kids! They both did an amazing job engaging and entertaining our two year old.
Right after the shoot, Jon shared the photo reel with us in a very short amount of time. We were thrilled that we did not have to wait a while to see the pictures.
Now the only challenge is selecting a handful of pictures

Jon and Carolyn are an outstanding team. Previously photography sessions have left me feeling taken advantage of. With J. Stud studio I feel like I truly got so lucky. They are the total package and exceptional value. Carolyn was the perfect person to capture the attention of my daughter, along with my dog. Jon somehow managed to get the cutest pictures despite my daughter wanting to stick her tongue out and my dog running around like crazy. I highly recommend booking your next session with these two. You certainly won't regret using their services.

Jon and Carolyn were absolutely phenomenal with our wedding photos! Jon’s impressive photography skills paired with Carolyn’s eye for details made them a fantastic pair to work with. They were in constant communication with us leading up to the day and made us feel so relaxed during the session. They drive a great balance of candid shots while still ensuring all major areas are covered, taking in suggestions and providing them along the way. We had a large group and they still managed to herd us and capture our special day. We got our photos back within days and were completely blown away with

We have been doing family photos for 13 years now since the birth of our first born. Fast forward to this years shoot and now a family of 6, all I have to say is JStud Studio is one of the best in the business! Aside from Jon’s incredible talent and creativity, he has the patience of a Saint! Its not easy managing 4 children 13 yrs down to 5yrs. All with entirely different personalities. However, this shoot was by far one of the most seamless and low stress shoots we have ever had. Jon and Carolyn are a super organized team. Locations and ideas were set prior, making for a super efficient experience

5+++ Such a wonderful experience! We are from out of town and wanted to take our engagement photos in NYC. It was a pleasure working with Jon. He was professional, punctual and beyond accommodating. During the shoot made us feel comfortable and our photos turned out beautifully -we can’t even pick our favourite, there are so many!! We couldn’t be happier! We are SO happy we chose to go with Jon and Carolyn for our engagement photos! They were incredibly patient with us, as we were pretty nervous going into the shoot. They both made us feel super comfortable and were overall just so friendly and easy to talk to. Jon was very open to understanding our vision, and provided awesome suggestions throughout the way.
