Born and raised in Berkeley, Jenna possesses a wide range of knowledge about the cities and neighborhoods that comprise the East Bay. After graduating from San Francisco State University, Jenna pursued a career in real estate with an emphasis on property management. It was a natural step to take after working with her family in all aspects of their real estate business.
BCPM understands the importance of finding responsible and reliable tenants. Credit checks, income and employment verification, rental history and references along with a personal interview will be performed for each potential tenant. BCPM will collect and process all rent payments. We suggest and handle rent increases when appropriate, as well as handle all rent control issues and city landlord requirements.

If I could give the company and owners 10 stars I would. I had been a homeowner prior to moving to the Bay Area over six years ago and fortunately landing in the wonderful hands of Greg, Jenna and Doug of BCPM. For six years as a renter through BCPM, I have always, always received the utmost customer respect, care, responsiveness and outstanding professionalism from each and every one of them. We lived in a rental for Bay Cities for two years, and would have continued our whole lives if we could. Jenna and her husband are so on top of repairs, and the best to work with. Paying rent online was easy each month, and they are so great/easy to communicate with. I highly recommended this to everyone and so sad to go!

Jenna was incredibly helpful when I had some questions about managing my rental property. I had put some calls out to a few property management companies in the East Bay area, and she was the first to get back to me. She took a good half hour out of her day to help me--just a random person on the phone--sort out a few tenant situations and make sense out of the confusing laws regarding rental properties in Oakland. Not sure how this business rates such positive ratings. As a property owner in Oakland near the Berkeley border, I called 3 days ago and left a message requesting a call back about their property management services. Never received any kind of return communication by phone or text. I feel how a business responds to simple phone requests also reflects on how they they perform in other areas of their business.

Greg & Jenna have been responsible for leasing our 5 bedroom home in the Berkeley Hills for four years so far. Since we no longer live in California, our home has become an investment property and is considered to be a high end rental property. We feel comfortable knowing it is being well cared for with Greg and Jenna in charge. They have found quality tenants quickly and the monthly rental statements are timely and clearly understandable. They have access to qualified repair / maintenance services when an issue arises. It has really been an easy process and we are not bothered by anything

We rented a home for a year and a half that was managed by Bay Cities Properties. Jenna and Doug were incredibly responsive and took amazing care of the home. At one point we complained that the grass was overgrown and they worked with the owner to hire a landscaper who made it look absolutely beautiful. They were always incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Having rented many homes/apartments, I can say they were the best 'landlords' I've had. If I ever have a home I need to rent out, they would be the first place I'd call.

Bay Cities managed my condo in Berkeley, and it was a 100% great experience.
They were always helpful and responsive, and made owning a rental from out of state practical and profitable.
They were also always responsive to my tenants, quickly dealing with maintenance issues, while outlining the options to remedy issues.
After I had found a buyer, they continued to be as helpful as previously, even though they knew their relationship with me would soon be ending - and despite a difficult interaction with my buyer.

Worked with Greg from Bay Cities Property Management, and even though I was out of town, he went out of his way to show my housemate different houses and to truly help us find the perfect home. For example, he showed us a beautiful home that was a great match for us before it was even officially listed on any ads (Craigslist, etc.). We are very happy with Bay Cities Property Management. They are curteous and prompt when we send in a service request. Depending on the service item, they have come to fix the item as early as that day. Otherwise, if its not an urgent item, they let us know exact times they will be available for us to schedule a visit. They are respectful of our time and are efficient. If a service item has been conducted, they will call once its complete to see how everything is which shows they follow through and genuinely care.
I also like that they explain what is being done to the house so we are aware.
