We provide a 95 gal rolling cart to handle your weekly bagged household garbage. Our monthly service is based on that volume and no bags or additional items should be outside of the container. We understand that there may be an occasional extra bag or two of trash, but if it is a regular occurance, you will be required to either contract for an extra cart (extra charge) or do a one time bulk pick up (extra charge).

If you have a bulk pick up, please call our office so we can arrange for someone to come out and take a look and provide an estimate of cost. We are unable to pick up the following: CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS - This requires a bulk pickup to be scheduled. HAZARDOUS WASTE : liquid paint, acid (pool chemicals), oil, gasoline, antifreeze or any other flammable liquids.
Services
We observe the following holidays each year. When these holidays fall on a weekday, our office will be closed and we will not be running routes so that our employees may spend time with their families. Example 1 - regular scheduled service is Monday, but Monday is Memorial Day, your service will be provided on Tuesday and each subsequent day that week will also be delayed by one day.

Well they missed picking up my garbage on MLK day, then an email came out and said that Doug gonna be a day late, another email about a broken truck, two emails one is to pay early to get this couch and then I read something about being out of business. I called today to hear if they were out of business from the horses mouth. That’s when everything went downhill quickly and a spiral. Demands were made of May 2 shoot a copy of the first article I read, the girl was raising her voice, and then finally I said I’m not gonna let you talk to me that’s why and I hung up. We loved Pickers when we first switched over from American, and we didn’t have any problems with them for about a year. I understand Covid has really hurt small businesses, so if it was just the fact that our trash doesn’t get picked up, I would be more patient. However, the owner has gotten increasingly rude over the last few months and posts unprofessional Facebook posts that teeter on the edge of being political, and she constantly sends snarky and defensive emails. I’m not going to pay to not have my stuff picked up AND be bullied by the company. Can’t wait to switch back to American

They don't appreciate their customers at all,.want you to understand if they can't make to pick up but if you're late they will remove the cans immediately. My wife called to make a payment and they told her to go to Armenian.. wow. That's how they feel about a paying customer....I'll gladly go back to American

Pickers was great! I was told when I signed up that my rate would never increase. Recently my bill just went up and basically was told too bad. Company emails sent to customers sound like a bad Facebook rant. They do pick up in a timely manner most of the time. But if you have extra trash one week expect another snarky email.

Never thought I’d leave a review about a trash company but here I am. We’ve been a customer of Pickers for only a month but I’m so impressed. They are always on time, and always pick everything up. I’m never left wondering if they are going to pick up our trash on the right day like I have been with other companies or if they are going to leave things at the curb. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, Pickers Waste has come onto our property without permission, and removed something from our carport. When we first hired them as our residential waste removers, I was very happy with the service. The fact that it was owned and operated by women was definitely a plus. Over the several years that I’ve been with Pickers Waste I’ve recommended them on many occasions. I will never recommend them again.

Is there anyone else experiencing problems with pickers? I loved the idea of using this company instead of American Disposal, all was well until last week when my trash was not picked up and again this week. I have two weeks of trash not picked up and the customer service representative does not seem to care. They were supposed to pick up my trash last week on Monday, I didn't want to bother them and waited thinking maybe they are short staffed, I called on Thursday when I figured their must be a problem. Their customer service said they would look in to it and call me back, I never received

Awful service. They advertise as a friendly small reputable business but don't buy the hype. I caught them several times on my camera dumping trash with recycling (I sort all my stuff meticulously). I also caught them missing many pickups and after calling them was accused of not having my cans out on time. I literally had to send video footage of me putting my cans out the night before to get them to make up for their mistakes. Avoid at all costs.

The unprofessionalism and the delay in service is making us want to not use Pickers as our trash service anymore. Our trash is supposed to be picked up on Monday mornings and as of Friday morning, our entire neighborhood has not been serviced. We understand there is a worker shortage, but that does not give any excuse to send out rude emails and have this long of a delay in service. Pickers stopped recycling service and wasn’t going to give us a refund for what we paid until I called. The refund should have been automatically applied to everyone’s accounts, since that service has been suspended

I've been using pickers for almost 2 years and everything was fine. I pay them monthly and they pick up my weekly trash. It's easy. The last 7 weeks they have only come 3 times and all 3 of those times they came 3-5 days late. We tried to be easy with them knowing that it's a hard time to be in business due to covid. Especially finding good help. However the owner has completely stopped responding to our calls and emails. After many broken promises of "we are coming tomorrow" we are canceling today. Do not use this company!

Great Customer Service. Feels good to give Pickers my business as they work very hard to satisfy the customers who live in the same area where they live. I can always reach a human when I call or email and get a prompt response which is virtually impossible when dealing with the big trash pickup conglomerates.

I am a person who supports small businesses but this particular one is not worth anyone's hard earned dollars. In all honesty, I understand sometimes things get delayed due to bad weather and whatnot but when the consumer calls and asks for details on what's going on, as the small business owner, it's your job to reassure and give the consumer some sort of confidence in your business. Pickers, instead of reassuring me, suggested I go somewhere else because she could not "and I quote" "be made to feel rushed to deliver trash bins" that were ordered weeks ago.

Am very pleased with the job Pickers consistently does. They have been very reliable and communicated promptly when there were changes in scheduled service. They've also been great about picking up extra boxes during this time of need. Went through several other services to address these issues before we found these guys. We're very happy with them!

Whoever is considering using PICKERS--I could NOT recommend it less.
After cancelling service to our area WITHOUT notification, we have called multiple times and have been assured that someone will come retrieve our trash for the last time. We were given at least three separate dates, all of which never happened, nor were we notified after each pickup was missed. We had to call again and again, and each time received a new timeline for final pickup and retrieval that did not happen (in fact, STILL has not happened). Extremely unhappy with the back and forth of this business. I was told in the beginning of March that they could service our home, even though they weren't signing up people until April. We have our own trash bin and recycling bin so they agreed and charged my credit card.

After Pickers missed the first pick up, I called and asked what was wrong. A representative said she thought this would happen because of the early sign up, but assured me of the pick up the following day. Again, no pick up. Signed up for waste pickup after last company went out of business leaving me with close to a month of garbage. Initial service was rough because their office gave me wrong pickup day, their customer service was great however in that they swung by, dropped off a can & picked up my garbage on a non scheduled day. Now 4 months later after great service on Mondays at the start of a new billing cycle they have missed me 2 consecutive weeks & when contacted they are back saying pickup day is a different day, this with no warning. Great but haphazard service.
