Custom Disposal Service, Inc. is an independent, family-owned and operated business serving the north metro area of Atlanta, Georgia, since 1984. In 1984, Ken started Custom Disposal Service, Inc. as a small residential disposal service to serve the north metro area of Atlanta, Georgia. What began as a small, side endeavor quickly grew into a thriving business because of the company's dedication to quality, reliability, and customer service.
There are two recycle pick-up schedules. There is a WEEK A Schedule and a WEEK B Schedule. If you do not know already which schedule you are on, simply look at your current schedule on you recycling container at the top right of the calendar for Week A or Week B. Covers shipping and handling of 5 bags.
All customers are supplied with a 95 gallon roll-cart for disposal of household waste and yard debris. An additional cart can be provided for $7.00 per month. Carts must be placed at the curb in front of your residence before pick-up time. All garbage must be bagged and tied. In most of our service areas, once-a-week pickup is standard, but in a few select locations, we do offer twice-a-week pickup.
If you have large or bulky items that will not fit into your roll-cart we can help with that by scheduling a special bulk pick-up. There is a separate charge for this service to cover the expenses including the disposal fee. Please include measurements, estimated weight and we will get back to you ASAP with a price quote and a possible pick-up date.

We had an accidental fire a few weeks ago. Our recycling container was involved in the fire. I called Custom Disposal and asked if they could replace the container. They informed me of the following. I would need to pay the $60 replacement fee. I asked if I could pay half since I’m paying out the whazoo right now for other things that have to be addressed (due to the fire). Courtney called me back and stated, “I spoke to the VP of our company and he stated that you would have to pay the $60.” There is ZERO compassion these days!!!! Needless to say….I’m looking for a new disposal company

Can’t bill & blames the customer. You the customer are wrong; you are always wrong. We have been a long time customer in Georgia (10+ years) and over the past year have experienced increasingly frustrating problems with getting billed. Custom disposal bill using a small postcard which can easily get lost in the mail process. We make a point of looking for the post card. Issue: custom disposal started as a small local company so the post card method was understandable. They now operate in multiple states. It is way past time for them to bill using the standard business size envelope. It may cost

After a couple of calls to the office over my recycling not getting picked up, I had a great conversation with one of the VP’s today. I shared with him that I felt my requests had been reasonable and when I felt like there had not even been an attempt to meet me half-way, it was frustrating!
Well, he had pages of notes about all the stuff I had tried to dispose of with them that is not allowed! I have not done this on purpose, but, clearly paid no attention when I signed up, or to the accepted materials on the lid. I was not being a very good customer.

I have more than just a trash can almost every week and without fail the team on the truck picks up whatever it is ,as long as it’s acceptable, and never leaves remnants behind. They have always been very professional to me even if it garage clean out week with lots of trash.

They do the trash pickup in my neighborhood and I think they do a good job. They try to pick trash up in a speed that is unnecessarily fast where they tend to drop things sometimes. One time I saw a driver stop the truck, back up, get out of the truck and picked up something that was on the road. You do not see good like that everyday and when I do, I appreciate it.

Drivers are awful and impatient, very rude and careless would be an understatement. When you call they do not answer the phone. A warning to potential commercial customers - when they are on your property there will be a huge liability for your employees/customers. Be warned!!

Terrible customer service, not secured online payment site, and website shows incorrect payment balance amount on my account.
Their company website is under HTTPS but the payment portal is under HTTP. I'd informed them for last six months that I'm not going to submit my personal information to make payment on unsecured web portal, but they don't seem to care much. I've been making payments over the phone.
I spoke with Lindsey, and she put me on hold while I was talking, without letting me know. I told her she should have let me know before putting me on hold, but she ignored

Great experience. Someone knowledgeable and able/willing to help always answers the phone. On a couple occasions I was awakened by the trash truck and realized I forgot to put it out. Running down in my pajamas the drivers did not ignore and got the trash anyway. I try to always have it out and ready, but nobody is 100% all the time. Also, I love the pickup at the house because I'm out of town a lot and can't always get can back, which is against HOA who does not allow trash containers left out except at pickup. Custom disposal gets all the stars.

Last week 3/20, Custom Disposal missed a bag of dog waste in my trash cart. In addition, today 3/27, they still missed my 2nd bag of dog waste in my trash cart, which now makes it two bags of dog waste with two weeks of dog waste not picked up by them. I called Custom Disposal this morning at 10:30AM and spoke with Tania/the manager who told me that they are NOT allowed to pick up dog waste. I explained to her that they have NEVER communicated this rule through any of the emails they sent to me (or customers in general). In addition, I proceeded to tell her that it is also not stated on their website

I spoke with both Barbara and Tonya before signing up and asked specifically if there is a fee to cancel service or to pay by credit card. They both informed me that there is no fee so after comparing trash providers, I signed up with them. The contract paperwork they sent me said there was a fee for both so I emailed them twice to have someone call me back and no one ever did. After three weeks with no phone call, I called and spoke to Tonya who said that they wouldn't have told me that and basically said I was lying. She was extremely rude and unprofessional, probably the rudest person
