My Mom was 94 when she passed away last October in Orinda, CA. We were very grateful to Asian Network Hospice for taking such excellent care of her. They sent nurses and even a physician to visit her. They sent home help workers to bathe her and social worker to make sure she got proper care. They definitely assembled a team of fine health care professionals. My mom passed away comfortably in her own apartment and that was what she wanted. Asian Network made that possible and I am happy to express my thanks to them.

When my mom's oncologist placed her under hospice service, we went with Asian Network (AN) as they have staff and nurses that can speak to my mom in Mandarin. However, in just a few short days we found ourselves very very unhappy with their service.
Numerous issues included (but not limited to):
- My mom wanted to spend her remaining days at the assisted living facility that has been her home for the past 8 years. We notice that every time the AN nurse went to check on my mom, she would constantly yell at and berate the staff there. This was the total opposite of the purpose of hospice

Spoke with a hospice rep named Chris to inform him about a concern about a resident at my place of work.at first I made a mistake and switched her last name with her first name and I heard his remark saying " cmon what is it" I said excuse me and apologized and continued on. He had an annoyed tone when he said he didn't have any patient with that name, I tried asking if he can try a different and also if he cannot talk to me in that tone because I felt uncomfortable and that he is giving me the worst service. He said he wants to talk to a nurse or a director and I told him we do

My mom and I worked together with Asian network when my dad was not longer able to receive treatment. It was a big relieve for us when Asian network starting to help us since we have no idea what's coming and how to prepare. Everyone we worked with has a warm heart and they make you feel they truly cared about you! I felt very lucky that we have their support and work with them till the end. Thank you so much, we are forever grateful!

I am SO grateful to Asian Network. I can't think of a better agency to have managed my grandmother's hospice care. Having Chinese language staff was incredibly valuable to my grandma. The staff are very caring, including Franklin the social worker, Ahn the spiritual advisor, Tianlong, the nurse, and Irene the CNA. I felt so well supported by everyone in the organization, including those who directed calls to nursing staff and I'm sure those behind the scenes help make the organization provide excellent service. I was really impressed by the amount of attention my grandma received

I want to especially thank Jin Yan the registered nurse who provided exceptional care for my 90-yr dad. At times my dad can be stubborn, ornery and impatient, yet Jin was able to treat him in a respectful, considerate and attentive manner eventually making my dad welcome his bi-weekly visits. Jin was conscientious, punctual and very accommodating. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave precise care instructions on my dad's staph infection, digestive issues and circulation problems. He had no qualms on contacting Dr. Louis, my dad's primary care physician, on any follow up issues

My girlfriends grandpa is being served by asian network hospice. His nurse is very nice and the intake dept gave great service and connection to the nurse. Since there is a language barrier between the grandpa, anna found a nurse that spoke the specific language and shared the specific culture. Really good coordination service!

This network of physical therapists and RNs comes to your home post-surgery,. I had a hip replacement and they came one or two times a week til I was ready for outpatient PT. I was so impressed with them that I decided to go to their outpatient PT center in Oakland even though I am not Asian and don't speak an Asian language. They are so knowledgeable and took such good care of me. I would recommend them for anyone with insurance coverage. (I have not yet gone to their outpatient PT center, but many of the same people are there.)
