FIND A DIFFERENT HOME HEALTH SERVICE!
First they have no system of keeping track of the orders from the doctor or infusion company. There is no communication between the visiting nurse and the home office. The patient has to be the liaison, and has to take on that responsibility too, on top of everything else.
The first nurse they sent was incompetent. He did not know if he should draw the blood before or after the antibiotic infusion. Additionally, when he didn't know how to draw from the PICC line, he wanted to just use a needle from his car to draw my dad's blood. If I had not been there to

I have been working for HealthFlex Home Health for 3 years. I started as a filed nurse which was a great experience as a nurse. I felt that I had a full team for help to provide care for the patient. Supervisors and case managers to help. I was presented with a position to do Quality Assurance and I accepted. And this is the best job i ever had in nursing and health care. My grandmother was taken to the hospital after her 3rd fall, this one was pretty serious. We needed some sort of help when she would come home. Finding healthflex online, we gave them a call. The few woman we spoke with by phone truly cared what we were going through. Even though my grandma lives far out in Livermore, they scheduled visits for her the next day after she returned home. The nurse and therapists were great and helped her so much with walking and being safe. We are so grateful. Recommend to anyone going through similar situation in their family.
