Meagan has worked in aesthetics/skincare since 2000 and has been with Steele Dermatology since 2016 and is our Aesthetics Coordinator. Meagan began in the spa industry, focusing on holistic and naturopathic skin care. As her career progressed, Meagan transitioned into training other aestheticians while continuing to develop her skills in medical aesthetics.
Medical dermatology includes all of the medical conditions, growths, diseases, and infections that involve the skin, hair, and nails. Some of these are very common and well known like eczema, ringworm, acne, skin cancer, and moles, and others are more rare diagnoses with names that you may have never previously heard.

It can present in several different ways, including bumps, pimples, whiteheads and blackheads (otherwise known as comedones), pustules, or deep cysts. Fortunately, there are many options when it comes to treatment.
Millions of men and women suffer from alopecia (also known as hair loss), in some form or another. When it comes to hair loss, you might think of thinning hair, shedding, poor growth, bald spots or hair breakage. Common symptoms of alopecia include seeing more scalp through your hair, having a smaller ponytail than you used to have, having to style your hair in certain ways to look thicker, etc.

Steele Dermatology has done wonders for me and my skin! Dr. Johnson is kind and listens to your concerns and prescribes the best regimen for your personal needs. Kie is the ABSOLUTE best! She is beyond knowledgeable and really understands skin, especially melanin for all of the brown skin girls! She uses our sessions, whether it be a chemical peel or laser genesis, to educate me on products and treatments. Her energy is infectious! Catherine is another esthetician who is a sweetheart! I was referred to Dr. Steele by a client of mine and let me say, I am sooo THANKFUL! I have been struggling with skin pigmentation for several years. I am a darker skin woman and for years I assumed the dark marks on my face were a form of birthmark. I was so excited to see Dr. Steele and even more excited that she was a black woman who understood my skin conditions. I purchased her Cyspera, Micronized Gel Cleanser, Clarifying body spray and Retinol Plus pads. SO WORTH IT!! My skin looks and feels like butter. Shame on me for not taking pics. I went to 2 other dermatologists with a recurring skin issue before going to Dr. Steele. She and her staff were extremely professional and timely but best of all, she was able to diagnose my issue within minutes and promptly prescribed a topical treatment that worked beautifully. I would actually like to give 6 stars with an additional star for how nice the office looked!

Dr. Steele-Johnson is very experienced and professional. My entire family sees her and she has helped each of us tremendously! I just had my chin & lip filler done Steele at Dermatology with Dr. Chynna Steele-Johnson & I absolutely love it! My chin looks amazing, especially my profile when I turn to the side. Dr. Johnson gave exactly what was needed! And my lips look so natural! I was a little hesitant at 1st because I didn’t want them to look overdone & I already have full lips… but my bottom lip has always been a little fuller than the top, & she definitely made them look more even while still giving a nice pout to my top & bottom lips. I couldn’t be happier with my filler results, thx Dr. J! :-)
