We accept students with or without previous dance training and offer small class sizes so children can experience personalized instruction. Sandra Organ Solis was trained under the Royal Academy of Dancing Syllabus by Valerie Roche in Omaha Nebraska, where she was raised by two Texans as their first girl after 5 boys! She moved to Texas to join to Houston Ballet as its first Black ballerina under Artistic Director of Ben Stevenson. Sandra danced twelve years as a soloist in her 15 seasons, dancing classical and contemporary roles.
I have two children enrolled and I'm so happy to see them learning the art of ballet safely! I love the focus on learning ballet correctly rather than doing recitals. I've noticed a positive difference in their posture outside of class as well. We love the classes at CTY. Our 5yo has grown so much as a dancer under Ms Rena's guidance.
Central Texas Youth Ballet offers a variety of dance classes for all ages and abilities, from tiny tots and beginners to adults. Central Texas Youth Ballet's Preschool Division promotes early childhood development as it exposes young children to dance and classical music while teaching coordination and introducing them to ballet vocabulary.
Central Texas Youth Ballet's Children's Division is suitable for children aged 3-6. This program promotes early childhood development as it exposes young children to dance and classical music while teaching coordination and introducing them to ballet vocabulary. Students are also taught classroom etiquette/discipline and placed in an environment to help improve concentration, listening skills, encourages creativity and group interaction.

CTYB is a real gem in dripping springs! My daughter has been part of the program for years and loves it! Ms. Rena is not only an excellent instructor but genuinely cares about her students. Highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for a dance studio where their child can not only develop their dancing skills but also be in a friendly caring environment.

Not the experience I was hoping for. Rena hesitantly let me sit on the sidelines of the class so that I could try to help acclimate my crying toddler.
After three weekends in a row of no progress, I asked what we could do to help my daughter feel more comfortable. Rena said that she’s probably just not ready, and to try again in the fall. I was hoping for patience and empathy from a dance teacher. This was a waste of my money and time.

We could not be more pleased with this program and are very excited to see how the program progresses moving forward. Rena not only teaches the children dance and ballet, but builds in developmental concepts and learning opportunities that is appropriate for the children's age. We love this program!

My daughter has been going to Central Texas Youth Ballet for close to a year. Before going there, I did a lot of research on the ballet studios in the area and came across Mrs. Rena's studio and her background in ballet and where she studied. I shared with a close friend (she used to be in ballet and her daughter is practicing competitively) and she mentioned that Mrs. Rena's practice of ballet is a highly regarded one and it was a good studio for my daughter to go to.

Love, love, love CTYB in Dripping! So great to have a classical ballet studio in the heart of town. Cannot say enough good things about the owner and ballet teacher, Rena Reeder. She is amazing. My girls love her! They also take tap dancing and enjoy it too. Rena and CTYB are a real gem in Dripping Springs! So happy to have found this studio!

I have two children that attend Central Texas Youth Ballet, we are going on our third year. They have grown so much at their studio! They love their instructors and I feel they are getting an amazing education. They are safely learning classical ballet, along with learning the proper terms and exposure to classical music and composers.

I haven't taken ballet since I was 5 years old, but thought I'd try the adult ballet class. I am having SO much fun! It's great exercise and I have such a feeling of accomplishment as I learn. The instructors are very knowledgable and they make the class interesting and entertaining. I would recommend CTY Ballet to anyone, young or old.

Central Texas Youth Ballet is the best pure classical Ballet school in our area. They teach technique which is very hard to find and their teachers are highly trained. My daughter has been a student of classical ballet for 13 years and have learned so much from the teachers at this studio. - As a parent of a serious ballet student, we are very fortunate to have this studio in our area. They provide individualized instruction based on the dancer's current level and abilities and formulate a plan to help the dancer reach their goals.

We have a 3 year old that we've been wanting to enroll in CTYB hip hop and creative movement dance class since we lived in Round Rock.
Now that we've moved to Dripping Springs. We absolutely did not hesitate to enroll our child into this wonderful studio. I want my son to receive the absolute best dance lessons to help grow and nurture his creative mind.
If you want your child to be taught technique properly and grow leaps and bounds as a dancer then this is THE place to go.

We have been at CTYB for a year. I am so proud of what my daughter has learned under the caring guidance they provide. I continue to be impressed with the schools focus on skill, self confidence and art. I do not have a background in ballet, my concern before enrolling was the focus would be on a 15 minute recital and a $500 frilly costume 3-4 times a year, I am overjoyed that is not the case at CTYB. The focus remains on the art and skills they are learning and my child's confidence is blooming. I am so proud to be a part of the CTYB family here in DS.
